In order for suction to work, you have to rinse off both the dashboard and the rubber suction cup on the mount with water in order to ensure there is no residue blocking suction. Unusable after six weeks

Does not stay stuck to dashboard

I have tried to reattach several times without luck. My surface has a texture (which the package says is ok) but maybe a smooth surface would be better. I do NOT recommend this phone mount.

Biggest waste of money!

The things sticks on a very smooth surface for not even 1 minute before it tumbles to the ground. I tried so many different surfaces including the windshield and got the same result. Now I have a useless piece of plastic that cost me $30. Zero stars please.

It will not stick to a nonporous surface without adhesive. If you intend to use on a dash know that you will not be able to remove and replace on a regular basis.

The clamp that holds the phone and the window suction cup are good but the ball joint started slipping and could not be locked down, and the phone just flopped down after every little bump or on its own. The phone didn't fall out though.

Before applying to your dash / windshield, be sure to rinse off both your dash / windshield and the rubber suction cup on the mount, in order to ensure there is no residue blocking suction. I haven't been able to remove the stain and I obviously haven't used the mount again since then. Very annoying.

If I still had the receipt I would take it back. I’ll just throw it in the rubbish, and buy a better quality one at Target or Walmart. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
