It secures easily to the vent and locks into place so there's no worries of it coming off. It holds my iPhone or Nuvi GPS perfectly and securely. It can be swiveled left, right, up or down and can be rotated around allowing your device to be viewed vertically or horizontally. It has a quick release button that works great, freeing the device with the push of a button.
