The GPS holder that came with it was a traditional suction cup holder that connects to the windshield. That was too hard to type anything into and wouldn't stay on the window. I bought the bracket that connects to the flap in the vent that is made for both phone and GPS. It was very hard to get in place - we thought we would break the vent, and once there, it kept listing to one side. We took it on a 4,000 mile trip and it did the job, but it could have been a lot better - i.e., easier to install and remove, and be able to adjust how the GPS screen was positioned. Only recommending it because there isn't a better alternative available.

This product works, however it's vent clamping mechanism is sloppy and the adjustments are awkward. The clamp holding the phone only releases on one side unless two hands are used. For the money, I would have expected better.

button gets stuck, have to push it out to get phone out.

I actually returned this because it felt flimsy to me. Did not have a good grip on my phone and would not connect to my air vents properly.

This worked great for holding my galaxy 7edge in place.

Holds phone well, easy release. Displays phone well.

The device snaps into your airvent and may not be for every vehicle, but I love how it has a sturdy grip on your device. It does not need to be out when not in use since the device holder easily snaps out of base attached to the vent.

This isn't the manufacturer's fault, but because my phone is big and heavy, it hangs over the radio and I have to move the phone every time I change the station. Other than that, no complaints.

I broke the first dash mount so this was a replacement since the first worked so well. I have a GARMIN Nuvi 6". Fits perfect. Secure. Attaches to A/C vents well. Secure hold. Excellent position to view the GPS.

This does not work with every car. I was not able to clip it to the air vents in my car. Tried it in another car it fit, but was cover up most of the vent, and was difficult to remove.

i installed this in my car and when i put my phone in it, it did not support the weight of the phone. it kept dropping everytime so i returned it and decided to look for other options

No issues...Wish it was a little easier to remove but does exactly what I want it to...Legs are a nice option but not necessary the way the sides grip my phone...Works well with iPhone 5, 6s and Blackberry.

I like the attachment to the vent because it is allows the cell phone to sit closer to me (easy to reach and read) than if I attached to the glass. Quality seems good but can't say without more usage.

In using the product it works okay and seems to be very universal in its use. Very basic and accomplishes what I need. Probably could be a little stronger and more durable.

This was a really great car mount! Until it wasn't.... when it broke there was no fixing it. The part that hold the phone wouldn't go into the mount anymore.

Great phone holder. It adjusts for the width of my phone and holds it very securely. I use it in my vehicle's air vent as it holds securely and at the perfect angle for viewing.

Bought this to replace similiar TomTom item. Far superior to TomTom's. even cheaper. Would buy from this manufacturer again. Well designed. Too soon to tell about quality.

I bought this for my new Silverado, but I couldn't get it to work with the vertical vent slats. Good thing I can use it in our other car.

I would not recommend buying this if you own a Mustang. Even still, the clamps are cheap and Im not sure that it will hold up a Garmin.
