This car mount was good but it seems like, it works for max 30 degrees F. In cold weather elastic grip is getting frozen and unable to hold the windshield.

This holder is really nice and hefty feeling. The holder ratchets in easily and the release is a snap. Like the quick connect with the suction cup on the window. Easy to install and remove, depending on the person driving.

Its a basic holder, but with it being mounted to your front windshield it doesn't clutter your dash or get in the way of your AC/heater vents. It is also at eye level which helps you keep your eyes on the road and traffic...safety first

Bought this for Uber. It does the job. Only complaint is that it could be a little more sturdy. It rattles a little too much when mounted on the windshield.

This one is excellent. It was not my first choice and the first one I had of a different brand broke and the gears stripped out. This one has done very well and I am happy with how securely it holds the phone and allows it to charge at the same time.

Started out great for about 3 months but then with constant use about 15 times a day the plastic gears have worn down to the point that they do not grab tight anymore.

This mount performed nothing like the vent mount I also purchased on the same visit. The arm bounced on every bump, it was hard to change it's placement, the suction cup was covered in some kind of grease or oil and slid off the window, leaving a huge slick spot behind. The mount rotated pretty freely while driving, too. I kinda wonder if I got a defective unit, but like I said, the vent mount version is doing great, so I think this is more of a design or manufacturing problem than a single incident.

Have this mounted on the front window by the rear view mirror. The suction has let go a few times but the holder itself was definitely worth the purchase

While this wasn't a particularly bad window mount, the build quality could use some work. After a few months of use the part your phone sits in separated from the neck. Upon inspection I found that it was held in with just some glue. They could have put a small rivet through it, used sonic welding to bond them together or just made it a screw on piece to make this last much longer. If you buy this, grab a drill and put a small screw through the part where the mount needs the neck.

The arms broke within 4 uses, unclear why, except cheap plastic.

I recently replaced my old I-phone & got the I-phone 8 plus & discovered that I need a new holder as well (since my new phone did not fit into my old holder)

I liked the fact that this holder could be used in a couple different spots. I wasn’t sure where I was gonna position it. Decided on windshield. The suction cup holds nice and tight and the ridgid arm holds the phones position great.

This company thought of everything when they created this product!!! I love it!!! Worth the $$$. Glad I didn’t have to put any kind of sticky magnet on my phone! That’s how the other phone holders were, this one is the best!

Bought this for my wife. She needed a place for her phone while driving. This was the first and only phone mount we tried. Works like a charm. Has a slight rattle when the phone is not mounted, but that’s almost never an issue.

The Trip Grip phone holder is awesome. It holds the phone tightly without falling like others I have tried. I like it because I can place it anywhere on any window in the car so it's better visually when using a navigator app.

I was looking for a way to adapt this for another way to hold my iPhone in my lap. So far it seems to work ok, need to try some other changes.

I tried this out in my Jeep and realized I needed a stronger attachment with the bumpy ride. I'm sure it would work well for most others though

Dash mounts won't work in my car - too many curves. This is great with the long arm because I can get it closer to me vs. dash mounts. I am tall and have the seat all the way back - dash mounts don't get close enough for me.

Bought one of these for myself, because i’m in the car 90% of my day, and one for my grandmother. We both really like it. Seems to hold our phone me (iPhone XS MAX and iPhone XR) without worrying about it falling.

Worked great for my phone for a while. Unfortunately, the cushion that holds the phone, broke off. However, the mount has a one year warranty so it’s okay.
