A: No...sticks fine in extremely hot and muggy, Houston Texas heat.
A: The arm is flexible . You can just bend it to whatever shape you prefer. You may have to bend it a little bit past the point you want it to be at and then it will retain the shape. It's pretty heavy duty so you will have to bend it pretty hard.
A: I've had this for a week trip and so far it has been working just fine. I like that it stays and is sturdy. Haven't had the need to remove it somewhere else, but when I adjusted the placement, it was very easy. Has a little lever to easily remove.
A: When I first mounted this bracket to the windshield there was considerable bounce from road vibration - though the suction cup held fast to the windshield. With a small adjustment though, I was able to eliminate most of the bouncing by mounting it in such a way that the gooseneck gently rests on the top of the dash. Now it works great!
Q: What's the length of the arm, on this?
A: Thank you for your question. The length of the arm starting at the base is 9 1/2 in long. Please feel free to contact [email protected], if you have other questions. Thanks, Bracketron Support
