Please try washing the suction cup with warm soapy water and letting it air dry, then try to re-apply the mount to the windshield. Please make sure the windshield is clean, free of chemicals, and make sure the windshield is not cold. If you're having issues with the TripGrip's suction cup, make sure you're cleaning it off with water as well as cleaning off the windshield before applying. Posted .Hi there, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. I'm sorry to hear you had some trouble with the TripGrip dash mount. In order to ensure the mount will stick to the windshield, rinse off the windshield as well as the rubber suction cup on the mount in order to ensure there is no residue blocking suction. This will allow the mount to stick to your surface effortlessly. I would recommend considering a vent mount instead, which is simply attached to the vents in your vehicle. We do offer this same TripGrip mount in a vent version, if you're interested. Thanks, Bracketron Support
