The holder Rattles when holder is empty. Made cheap

Product works exactly as expected. It adheres to your windshield with ease and stays in place, precisely what you would want a phone holder to do. The only issue that I have had with mine happened immediately after I opened it: the bendable rod had separated from the suction cup base. Now I'm not entirely sure if this was part of the manufacturers design, but it seemed to me that the rod could easily fall out of the base when attached to the windshield. A dab of epoxy was all it took to permanently attach the pieces together; a simple solution for a simple issue. Other than that, this piece has worked amazingly for long car rides while using my phone as a GPS.

I really love this phone holder for 9 months of the year. It holds well to my windshield, even over bumpy dirt roads. However, it's definitely not designed for areas where temps drop below zero as the suction cup becomes absolutely worthless when the temperature is below 20 degrees. With Best Buy being based in the Twin Cities you'd think they'd work with companies who design products their local shoppers can use but apparently that's not the case. This is the 3rd phone mount I've attempted to use in the winter in Minnesota and I guess I get to keep looking for something that works...

I absolutely love this phone holder the only reason i am giving it a 4 star is due to it falling off the glass when it gets very cold outside.

This window mount apparently was designed by people who actually use it. Just perfect for my recent trip. Sturdy, held the phone perfectly, can accommodate many different widths of phones, and very unobtrusive in the window. Cannot attach to dashboard but it's name is "window mount". Price is right.

I purchased my Bracketron TripGrip Window mount a couple of years ago and through time, heat being on the windshield the tabs the ratchet mechanism uses to hold it tight had broken off and it would no longer stay on the windshield. I thought I would contact Bracketron and see if I could purchase just the base unit piece and save a little money. They responded in less than 24 hours, ask for a picture of the unit and then to my surprise sent me a new one, the whole unit not just the broken piece, they even paid for the shipping. I am 100% satisfied and will purchase Bracketron products in the future.

Great unit, not sure why other people are complaining about. It does what it's supposed to do. It sticks to the windshield and holds your phone. Great for navigation.

WORKS GREAT FITS TIGHHT ON MY WINDOW AND HOLDS PHONE ON TIGHT HASNT FELL YET AWESOME RODUCT

The release button was always getting stuck so I installed a small spring under the release button and now it works perfectly. It does rattle sometimes but not a deal breaker. I like the ability to bend the neck in any position and the soft pads that hold the phone in place.

Excellent holder to use for your phone while using the GPS functions. Simple and functional. Works great!

I love it. Its sturdy and it doesn't fall off the windshield which is a plus for me.

I bought this yesterday and it's great for the price. It does everything that it's supposed to. Unfortunately, it's a bit shaky while driving, so I had to minus one star. But other than that, it's awesome.
