    Bought this phone holder as a replacement for one that "bit the dust".I'm an Uber driver and always need to have my phone mounted in my car. This holder sticks out further enabling me to read the directions more easily. Easily adheres to the windshield, but I recommend taking it down when not in use, especially in very hot weather...the plastic that mounts to the windshield may melt..

    I have an iPhone with the extra battery which makes the phone very thick. This product holds my phone firmly in the brackets. The feet on the bottom keep the phone from sliding out especially on bumpy roads. The goose neck is extra long which is perfect for my mini van which has a very deep dashboard making the front window further away than most cars.

    This does exactly what you would expect but there is a small issue. Because the side holders protrude so far, they can obscure the sides of the phone, especially a phone with curved edge glass like a Note8. I think on a normal phone this wouldn't as much of a problem
