The arms don't expand evenly and you must force them closed so they balance open again. The suction bracket tab easily broke the first time I said it. Fortunately the suction cup worked well

The vent option will not attach to the vents in my car. The phone holder does not secure well to the rest of the mechanism and comes loose easily and without warning.

Be warned, cheapest plastic design. Mine broke straight out the box. I got it a day of leaving for vacation, and didnt get a chance to return it. There goes 15 dollars to the garbage.
