Here's some tips to get the mount to suction –– I would suggest cleaning off the dashboard as well as the suction cup on the mount with water in order to ensure there is no residue blocking the suction. I bought this same product in 2020 and it worked very well but needed to be replaced so this time around I noticed the weight of the phone would cause the extender to hang and rotate left or right turning the phone on its side and would not stay in place.

Posted .Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you had some trouble with the stability of the TripGrip mount. Were you using this mount in your air vents, or on the dashboard / windshield? If on the vents, I'd recommend placing the vent clips into the bottom-most vent bar, so that the mount is supported at its base. Also, we do have several other lines of mounts which may work better for your vehicle, such as the OneClick Mounts, MagnetXT mounts or our AutoGrip mounts.
