Release is a little stiff, yet so release isn't great.

I purchased another kind. Wouldn't fit the contour of the dash. So I purchased the window one. It was a lil hard getting to stick on first. But it hasn't moved since. You can use for GPS, Cell Phone, Tablet it adjusted.

I'm not sure if it's my car or this device, but its really shaky. This is my second phone holder and the other brand wasn't so shaky when looking at the GPS while driving. — It's definitely the device, like it needs a sturdier connector.

since most addresses are sent to my phone, i have used the windshield mount to hold my phone, while using it as GPS. so far have not had any issues with it.

If you'd like your phone or Sirius/XM player to randomly fall off then this is for you!! It's pretty cheap plastic haphazardly assembled. The only thing that works a 100% of the time is the suction cup.

This windshield mount holds my iphone securely and can be easily adjusted to the perfect viewing position. I use it daily and recommend it. The only awkward feature is the release button that you press to unclamp the phone. The button is a little hard to reach and press due to it's position at the back of the phone. Not a major issue, just a little annoying.

I have been through a dozen (at least) windshield mounts over the past 10 years. I use them for my iPhone when i travel so i can use the maps on it for traffic and directions. This is the first one that is as easy to remove as it is to install. Every other one i have had has broken after 6 or so uses. If you have to remove/install frequently this mount is a must.

I purchased this mount because there was no reasonable place to place my phone while driving in my Suburban. Even with this mount it was difficult to find a place that worked well to utilize the phone as a GPS and have it ready if I needed to answer a hands free call. It adjusts nicely to whatever phone size you have and can be manipulated to get around obstacles. The only gripe I have is that the button that releases the phone when you want to take it out sticks so when I try to place it back again, it won't click into place, causing me to have to fiddle with the button to unstick it. Otherwise great product. I would recommend, just watch the button.

I bought this windshield mount bracket to hold my phone. It was a tad bit expensive for the quality of the build and it took a decent amount of fiddling to get it to stick but it is working out OK and is only a little jiggly when going over bumps.

Works well.Holds my phone right over the corner of the dashboard without obstructing the windshield so I can use the google nav on my phone.

Bought this for my wife, she uses it for her phone ( iPhone 7plus with lifeproof case ) holds her phone great, but rattles when empty unless you squeeze it all the way closed.

Works well and sticks to windshield better than GPS holders that come with GPS. It will rattle when you drive, unless you close it together.
