It does take a little longer to shave if you let your hair grow out over the weekend though but otherwise it's a great product and I would buy it again.

Braun Series 7 best $200 I ever spent

I just bought the first head replacement so I could be ready when the shaver tells me it needs a replacement head. This gives a close, comfortable shave and is very easy to maintain.

Extends blade life

Perhaps the best aspect is that it encourages no prep whatsoever for shaving. That then does leave the blades in a grungier state, which is where the cleaner comes in. I find a cartridge will last a month or so. To me, it is worth changing out as soon as the light shows yellow.

Pretty hard for a cleaning solution to not do its job. I will continue to buy this, as I have no other option if I want to get the most from my series 5.
