The IPL hair removal by Braun is very well made and looks stunning. It's incredibly easy to use, lightweight, and designed for comfortable handling, thanks to its ergonomic structure. The device feels like a professional-grade tool, and it comes with everything you need, including a razor and a stylish storage case. It includes three interchangeable heads: standard, wide, and a smaller precision head for detailed areas. Another great feature about this hair removal machine is the ability to connect to Wi-Fi. That way you can monitor and control it from the phone App. If you never use this type of device I’ll suggest reading the manual which is easy to follow. Luckily my girlfriend had some experience, that certainly helps. First thing you want to do is download the Skin i-Expert app from either Apple Store or Google Play. Create and account and enter some information pertaining to your skin and hair color and other personal info. During this setup the device will automatically detect the color of your skin and hair as well. The app is quite useful and, in many ways, essential. It allows you to schedule sessions and sends reminders when it's time for your next treatment. I’ll reiterate the device is very simple to use and is very quiet. It is painless and it did not leave any marks on our skin. The laser is strong and works almost instantly after the machine is plugged in. However, the package doesn’t include any protective eyewear, and during our first session, the flash was so bright that it caused some discomfort, so I recommend using eye protection. Be advised the results are a gradual process. You won’t notice a difference, not at least after the second session. It is recommended to do it once a week and depending on the area the app will advise you how many sessions are required. Overall, the Braun IPL hair removal device is a highly effective at-home solution. It’s painless, leaves no skin marks or irritation, and its wireless functionality lets you manage it via your phone. With the app's reminders, you won’t miss any sessions. Best of all, it offers a cost-effective alternative to salon treatments. The box includes the IPL device, three heads, a razor with a cartridge, and a storage pouch.

    Braun IPL Pro 7 – A guy's perspective.

I was one of those guys for many years that never considered shaving my chest. I finally gave in and the results were pretty impressive! My wife went nuts! I also loved how much more defined my chest looked from workouts and the looks at the pool from the ladies (and guys)…I was sold. I went big with a full chest and back wax every 5-6 weeks. Waxing…IS PAINFUL but Laser hair removal is expensive so I never considered that as an option….until now. My waxings were 50 bucks a pop and like I said I am committed, so 50 bucks until I get too old to care about my chest? No thanks. Enter the Braun IPL Pro 7. I know Braun and have used their face shavers for years and trust the brand. So I was excited to man up …and zap my chest… I figured it could not hurt as bad as waxing. IPL is a treatment that zaps intense light into the hair pigment which turns it into heat which damages the hair follicle. I had to look it up. I got the Pro 7 and opened the box. Well thought out presentation. It comes with a nice carrying case that holds all the chords and laser heads, a nice “welcome” QR code for the app, and an instruction manual. NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT… I don’t always read instruction guides…I like to get right to it BUT this is different. Because of the laser factor and lasers being able to burn ect (think of all the movies with lasers in them), I decided to read the instructions. There are some serious things to know about using this powerful device! -Do not use if you have dark skin, - Do not use if you have a sunburn or tan, - Do not use on nipples or genitals, Do not use if you have a history of skin cancer, Do not use on birthmarks or scars or tattoos. Those are the biggies but there are more. BE SURE TO READ THEM ALL. I read through them to make sure I safely get that smooth chest my wife and I love! Also for guys, you cannot use it on you beard. I got the app, which I love. It is super smart and intuitive and guides you right through the whole process. They advertise that it’s the first “learning” IPL system which I like. It told me that my skin and hair were a perfect match for the technology…I didn’t have to wonder. It also learns as I use it to maximize the benefit. AI is taking over everything!!! I did have a little trouble pairing Bluetooth but to be fair I just got the new iPhone and maybe some of the Bluetooth pairing glitches were me. In any event, I had to forget and repair a few times. Once paired up, the Braun app took me through a “skin test” to make sure my hair and skin were in the acceptable treatment range. I am mildly hairy, with dark brown hair and an olive skin tone and the app said I was perfect. I placed the Braun IPL Pro 7 head on my mid stomach (since that is the most sensitive part of my chest) and “ZAP”. I could feel a sting and I could see some mild redness. It stung a little more than I had anticipated. I might have got myself all psyched out though. I had to wait 15 minutes to see if there was a reaction. 15 minutes came and there was no pain but I could see a red mark and it itched a little. Back to the instruction manual. There is a section that reads” Possible side effects”. It told me that “mild pain/ discomfort in the area being treated was normal” so the minor sting was no big deal. Itchiness in the treatment area was common, so ok there as well. It also stated that skin redness that disappears in minutes is also expected BUT if the redness lasts longer than 24 – 48 hours…Stop using the device. So I waited, the redness was gone in a few hours with no itchiness. Definitely not 24- 48 hours but for sure was not a few minutes either. Now the Braun IPL Pro 7 has three settings of intensity. I did my test on the strongest setting. I did another test a day later on the second setting which was the medium intensity. I could still feel a slight sting (and I swear I got a hint of burning hair but I could not be certain) and a little redness but the redness was gone in a few minutes. So I was all set. Setting two was the magic number. Back to the app and again, it’s very useful and super helpful. I set up a program or rather it set up one for me to follow (see pic). Every week I zap my chest for the prescribed time and in 11 weeks I should be hairless! Due to the long timeline, I am unable to tell you if it worked or not at this stage. I plan to set a reminder on my phone and come back and update this review. But by the sting and slight smell of burnt hair follicles…I’d say it is working! Lol Overall. I really like this product. There are some serious things to be aware of so BE SURE to read all the warnings! But even the slight sting and itchiness is nothing compared to going and having all your chest hair ripped out of your chest! NOW THAT HURTS! I will do this for 11 weeks no problem. I am just glad I have the option to do this in the comfort of my own home using a brand I trust! I can’t wait for the next pool season!

I can't give a review of product, but a warning for anyone wanting to purchase. You cannot use this on tattoos. It's in the fine print on the box. A little more bold in the manual. I did it so you don't have to. It hurts.

I actually got this Braun IPL (intense pulsed light) hair remover with my daughter in mind, but I wanted to try it first. I have shaved my chest and neck plenty of times before, of course only to have it grow back. I have never, however, tried any type of laser removal treatments. So, I must say I was a little curious about how and if it would work. Just as some background, I am a medium skin tone white male with a fairly average amount of typical brown hair. According to the unit and the specifications, I am a good match for this device to be successful. Let's start with the packaging and appearance of the device itself. The device comes in a neatly packaged and sophisticated-looking box making it ideal if you wanted to give it as a gift. Upon opening the box, you are greeted with a cute little faux suede case containing the entire package including the additional different sized treatment caps as well as the power supply and the device itself. Also comes with a nice Venus razor for initial hair removal prior to treatment which I thought was a nice addition. There's a starter guide and QR code to quickly and easily download the free Braun IPL Skin i-expert mobile app. Setup and registering the app are quick and easy, requiring only a first name and email address to get started. The app is quite helpful in setting up the device quickly. It connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, though I'm not sure why it needs both. Once connected it guides you through the setup process for the device which only takes about 5 minutes followed by a 15-minute waiting period to ensure there are no unwanted skin reactions from using the device. It even prompts you to set up your treatment regimen plans and goals while you wait to check on any skin reaction. The app is user friendly, intuitive, and easy to use and charts your progress throughout the treatment course. I can also be programmed to send you weekly reminders to perform your treatment so that you stay on course and complete your cycle to ensure that the hair removal process works. My first use was a little bit exciting. The pulsed light flashes create a sort of “shock” feeling and warm the skin a little bit. It wasn't a painful shock, but it got my attention at first, then I got used to it after about the third one. The process is fairly quick and easy depending on how large of a body area you intend to treat. Each flash covers about one square inch of skin, so if you intend to do an entire region such as your chest, back, or legs it might take a while to complete the whole area. That being said, the entire process goes by fairly quickly and for me it was entirely PAIN FREE. I experienced none of the possible adverse skin reactions that are mentioned in the warning materials. No redness, no itching, no burnt skin, just felt a little warm in the area treated. Once the treatment is complete I just packed the device back up into the handy storage/carrying case and put it under the sink until next week. It really is a simple straightforward process, and I feel it will work for good long-term hair growth reduction. I can update this review further once I get through the eight-week course and let you know if it truly does provide long standing reduction in my hair growth. Pros: -Quick -Easy -Laser hair removal in the comfort and privacy of your own home – no stripping naked in front of a technician at a salon -Inexpensive overall when compared to multiple salon visits for similar treatment -Comes with a stylish storage pouch/case that everything fits in -Light-weight and portable -Includes multiple treatment cap sizes to custom tailor a treatment for your intended area Cons: -Treatment sessions could take longer depending on your treatment area size -Corded – I worked fine with the cord and my bathroom setup, but some may have an easier time with a cordless version to avoid the tangles -Time for full treatment is typically 8-12 weeks, no instant gratification here, must be diligent -Although I did not, some may experience discomfort by this treatment modality Overall, this is a very nice looking and functional unit. I’m too early on to speak to the long-term effectiveness for lasting hair removal, but so far so good. Super easy to use and maintain. Definitely cost effective when compared to a professional hair removal spa where I would likely be out of pocket for every visit and multiple visits for multiple body regions.

Smooth Moves: My Braun IPL Pro 7 Early Impressions

I've been using the Braun IPL Pro 7 for a short time, and so far, I love it! While I wish I could have waited a few more weeks before writing this review—since the full hair removal process with this product takes time—I'm already impressed with what I've seen. First off, let’s talk about the carrying case that comes with it. I’m a big manly man, but I have to say, the rose gold/pink/beige-ish leather case is a standout. It’s beautifully crafted, with a sturdy zipper and a thoughtful design. It’s the perfect size for travel, with dedicated compartments for the IPL device, charging brick, and all the attachments. Plus, there's plenty of space to throw in a few extra razors. It’s a small but significant detail that adds to the overall premium feel of the package. Speaking of what's included, the box comes with everything you need to get started: the IPL (intense pulsed light) device, a power brick, and three head attachments for different areas. They even threw in a disposable razor so you can start your first session right out of the box. Everything is included, making it easy to begin the process immediately. I’ve used the Braun IPL Pro 7 three times so far, targeting three different areas of my body. Even with just a few uses, you can tell it’s working! When you press the button to activate the device, it emits a super bright flash, and you can feel a little “snap” on your skin in that area. The sensation doesn’t hurt, but you’re definitely aware of it. After using it, the treated skin feels a bit tighter and warm the next day, but nothing concerning—just a reassuring sign that it’s doing its job. It’s great to notice some early progress, even knowing that the real results will come with consistent use over the next few weeks. One of the highlights for me is the Braun app. It’s super easy to use and makes the whole process even smoother. The app guides you through setting up the device and using it properly, which was a big help for a beginner like me. You can also set up a customized session schedule, breaking it down by different body areas where you want to remove hair. It even sends you notification reminders, so you never miss a session. It’s a thoughtful feature that takes the guesswork out of the whole process. Overall, both my wife and I are thrilled with this little gadget. We’re excited to see how effective it is after the full schedule of sessions is complete. If you're looking for a sleek, user-friendly IPL device with thoughtful touches like a quality carrying case and an easy-to-navigate app, the Braun IPL Pro 7 is a solid choice!

I picked this up for my wife, who has dark hair and a relatively light skin tone. Set up is extremely easy. Download the app for the phone, plug in the Pro 7, and sync the two. The app will walk the user through the process that determines whether the Pro 7 is compatible with their hair and skin tone. The Pro 7 works by transferring light energy through the skin’s surface which is absorbed by the melanin that is present in a hair shaft. This light energy is converted to heat under the skin and disables the hair follicle. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, the hair falls out and there should be a noticeable decrease in the amount of hair in that area. The app/manual suggests a 12-week treatment process for each area. How does it work in real life? My wife has taken it slowly with the Pro 7, testing in one area on her upper thigh to make sure that there is no skin irritation or complication from using the device. The results have been excellent. After just the first use, she noticed a small decrease in hair growth in the section she used the Pro 7 on as compared to the rest of her thigh. After the second use, she is seeing very little growth at all in that area. We were both surprised how effective the Pro 7 was, considering that the manual mentions 12-week treatment programs for areas. I’m assuming since it is a small area that she was working on, it was a lot easier to make sure she was getting good coverage with the device. She is now starting the entire leg, following the procedure that the app outlines. It really is an easy device to use, just following app instructions and gently gliding the Pro 7 row by row over the area. This is the first time that my wife has tried an IPL device, and she is very pleased by it.

I recently tried the Braun IPL Pro 7 IPL Hair Removal system with the Venus Razor, and I have to say, I’m impressed with how simple it is to use. Right out of the box, the setup was quick and easy, and the instructions were clear, making the whole process very beginner-friendly. The IPL device is lightweight and comfortable to hold, which made it easy to maneuver around different areas of my body. One feature I really like is the SensoAdapt technology, which automatically adjusts the intensity of the light based on your skin tone, so you don’t have to worry about selecting the wrong setting. I felt safe using it, and I didn’t experience any discomfort during treatment. The Venus razor that comes with it is a nice bonus to prep your skin before using the IPL. As for results, they’re as advertised. After just a few sessions, I already notice a reduction in hair growth, especially in areas like my legs and underarms. It’s not an overnight process, but based on my progress so far, I’m excited to see the results in the coming weeks. I also appreciate that it’s gentle on my skin – I haven’t had any irritation or redness after using it. MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. There are several critical steps that you will need to follow before getting started and it can make or break your experience. One minor downside is that the cord could be a bit longer, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and can confidently say that if you’re looking for an at-home IPL solution that’s easy to use and delivers noticeable results, the Braun IPL Pro 7 is a great choice.

I was excited to try out the Braun IPL Skin i·expert for at-home hair removal. The device looks sleek and comes in a stylish vanity case, making it feel like a luxurious gift. I love that it plugs in instead of using batteries, which is super convenient. I decided to start with my chin hair, which has been a concern for over a decade. When I first used the device, I was impressed by its professional feel. I could sense it working and even smelled burning hair, which made me optimistic about the results. Although after just two sessions, I haven't seen the dramatic changes I hoped for, I remain positive. The slight sting is manageable, and I was expecting more noticeable results given the zappy sensation. However, I understand that these things take time, and I'm committed to continuing the process. When picking this device I noticed some reviews stating that they received a rash after using this product. From my own experience I haven't had any issues with skin irritation. In the initial instructions it tells you to test the device on a small portion of your skin to see if you will have a reaction, which I did. I believe this comes down to picking the correct device for your skin tone and hair color. On the box it depicts the type of skin and hair that the device services, so make sure that you pick the one that fits your body. The free app that comes with the device is another fantastic feature. It's user-friendly and helps me track my sessions and progress. I'm confident that with continued use, I'll start to see the desired results. I know that good things take time, so I'm dedicated to giving this a fair shot before making a final decision. Overall, the Braun IPL Skin i·expert is impressive and convenient. Even though my initial results aren't as strong as I'd hoped, I'm optimistic that with continued use, it will deliver. The elegant design, along with practical features like the plug-in power and smart app, make it a valuable addition to my self-care routine. I'm excited to see the progress over the next few weeks.

Oh boy, oh boy. This is an experience. At first, I was nervous about the whole lazer process. Wondering if it would hurt or if it would actually do what it said it would, and stop my hair from growing though some form of witchcraft. Then I opened the box and realized that was going to be an experience I've never had before. The bix comes equipped with the Skin i-expert Hair Remover with the power source attached. That let me know that the folks over at Braun meant business. There was no USB cable here. It also came with a Nair razor so you can get that close shave before the lazer process begins. There are 3 lazer heads( Small, Standard, & Wide), and they al come packed in a lovely, yet flimsy rose gold, leather carrying case. This thing is pricey. Braun shoud really consider a more sturdy carrying case. The instructions are simple and there is an app to help you stay on track throughout the process.[ I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH: PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS] They aren't difficult, but it could be the difference between a geat experience and a travesty. I don't meant to offend, but I have to put thiis in all caps also.[ MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SKIN TONE IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE PROCESS.] If your melanin levels are too high, this machine will not work on you. The chart is visable on the outside of the box, and it's pretty forgiving. I wa actually surprised that i fitt with-in the parrameters of use, myself. The whole process takes around 6 to 8 weeks to see long lasting results, but then, you are doing this at home and the app can and will help you keep your appointment...with yourself. Now, back to my fears. This thing is crazy scary for newbies. The lazer process pops when it's working. And that can result in multiple jump-scares. Lol! With that being said. I would like to recommend that you have a friend help you. Let them run it over your skin while you brace for impact. It's about as painful as getting a tattoo, but nowhere as agreigious. The process can take around 20 minutes per session, at once a week. If you'd like a less aggressive session, you can go lighter and take longer. And there will be the smell of burning hair in the air. The lazer process works by burning the folicle beneath the skin to prevent them from growing. Over time your folicles will learn to not grow.( That's the science.) Lastly, make sure that you do not expose your treated areas to the sun within 24 hours after each treatment. But I have to say, I'm enjoyng the process and I'm doing it alone. And Yes. I'm a man. So guys, it's okay to get smooth. Great gift for yourself or that hairy person that's super difficlt to shop for. I'd also recommend picking up a safe case for storage. While I do love the carrying case( Over-nnight bag), I just feel like this investment needs to be protected.

I was very excited to try this hair removal product out as I have always used Braun products and trusted their quality. I have never used a hair removal product before and was pretty curious. This product is packed with features and right out of the box I could tell it was made of high quality. I really enjoyed the carrying case and all the extras it came with. The Venus razor provided a comfortable shave and no irritation occurred upon using them. Now the first time I attempted to use the Hair Removal, I tried it on a small area and the skin became very irritated. It was not until later or re-reading the directions that I discovered I needed to recheck all the settings. The ultimate recommendation for anyone who wishes to try this product is to read those instructions / directions a few times over. It is very important the prep work and the settings are correctly matched to prevent irritations. Those "Smart Caps" are crucial and really does help in the process. After re-reading everything and re-checking the settings my second attempt was pleasant with no irritation. I feel this product are for those who may have some experience with hair removal process. The ease of use and prep work required is why I marked it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I do recommend the product however strongly encourage to thoroughly read those directions.

I have been wanting to try laser hair removal for a while but was putting off spending the time and money at a salon. I have fair skin and dark hair which is a suitable for this device. So, I was very excited when I had the opportunity to try Braun’s new Pro 7 IPL! A treatment schedule is included for optimal results, the device should be used once a week for 12 weeks. After the initial treatment phase (12 treatments), it is recommended the device is used once a month or as required. It came in a beautiful blush suede case, and included a Gillette Venus Embrace razor for you to shave with before treatment to ensure there is no hair on the surface area. Also included are 3 heads, the standard head, the wide head and the precision head - ideal for smaller & sensitive areas. The tips/heads are very easy to swap out. The unit is corded so you never have to worry about a battery. Prior to starting a treatment, you need to ensure that all visible hair has been removed from the area. You also need to make sure you have no lotions or cosmetics on the area to be treated. There are two methods to use this laser, stamping and gliding. You would use the stamping method for hard-to-reach areas. The stamping method is achieved by pressing and instantly releasing the treatment button, permitting a single flash. For fast and efficient treatment of large areas, you would use the gliding method, pressing and holding the treatment button. The skin contact sensors ensure that the device can only be triggered when in full contact with the skin. The laser generates a warm sensation when the device flashes. The first few times I used it, I felt a little bit of a "zap" feeling but after a few uses it was almost pain free. I did notice a slight burning smell as well. There was no irritation or redness present. The laser is extremely bright and makes it difficult to watch where you are "zapping". Even with the device fully pressed against your skin the laser light is dangerously bright. The manual warns of not looking at the device, but you need to see what you are doing. A pair of red laser blocking safety glasses should be considered a must have while using. I am not sure why they did not include any eye protection, but I am going to buy some just to make the process easier and safer. The app was very easy to set up and has some cool features. You set a schedule for the selected areas you want to laser. You can even set reminders which is a huge help for me. Then as you continue with the treatments it will show you the progress you have made. I have noticed some improvements in unwanted hair growth, but I am very early in the recommended 12-week program. I am excited to see the end result. RECOMMENDED

Effective Hair Removal, Odd Restrictions for Men

I’ve been using the Braun IPL Pro 7 for a few weeks now, and while I can’t speak to the long-term results just yet, I can share my thoughts on the overall experience so far. Setup and Use: Getting started was straightforward. The process to select your skin tone and hair type was simple with the Braun app on your phone, and the actual IPL treatments were painless. I’ve used it on my upper chest and inner thighs with no redness or irritation, which was a nice surprise. Just note—you do need to shave the area first, unlike other hair removal methods where you let the hair grow out. Build Quality: The build quality is solid, but the cord setup could use some improvement. The power brick is bulky, about the size of an old laptop charger, and it was a bit of a challenge to find a comfortable place to use the device because of how short the cord is. In the bathroom, the brick kept falling into the sink. It’s manageable, but you might want to have an extension cord on hand depending on where you plan to use it. One Weird Thing: As a man, I was hoping to use this on my face and neck, but the manual specifically says men shouldn’t use it on those areas, while women can use it on their faces. That wasn’t clear in the product listing, and it’s a pretty big limitation. Braun confirmed this in an email, but I think it’s something they need to be upfront about in the product description. Overall: It’s easy to use, and I’m confident I’ll see results with continued treatments. The design and build quality are great, but the bulky power brick is a drawback. The biggest issue, though, is the unclear gender limitations on where you can use the device. If that’s not a dealbreaker for you, it’s definitely worth considering for at-home IPL treatments.

This Hair removal system is the future. I was skeptical of this system at first but I thought id give it a try. The contents come in a very nice carrying bag neatly packaged. The contents include a shaving kit. It is necessary to shave the location where the device will be used. The system works with a downloadable app that helps you step by step on how to begin to use the system. The system is designed for a one person use, as it detects the color tone of your skin. My first use to test the device was on the lower part of my arm. I shaved the area for testing and used the device. It was an unexpected flash. A slight heat came from the device and there was a smell of burned hair. The device is not wireless, it has to be plugged in while in use. The device needs to warm up before use. It can also be adjusted if the device is too strong. The package included different heads for different locations. The manufacturer warns that not all locations in the body can be used with this device. A test should administered to make sure it is safe to continue to use in that area. The app tracks how many times the device has been flashed an keeps a calendar record of when it was used. Overall, this is a great product and cant wait to see the results.

This tool is a game changer in terms of hair removal. When looking at this product it boils down to a couple different areas of focus; design and performance. When looking at this design it it about the size of a handheld shaver, maybe a tad bigger. The extension cable is heavy duty and was plenty long for me to use in the bathroom. The grip, attachments and buttons are all made from heavy duty plastic which is a welcomed contrast when looking at other personal grooming products. In terms of functionality and performance, the set up is a breeze and there is even a companion app that be installed to assist with operation. When using, there is a "scan" and "stamp" method. Scanning simply is like a razor, running over the skin while the light does its job. The stamp method on the other hand focusses on smaller areas. We have noticed that the stamping method works better than the scanning. One thing that I wish was provided as an accessory to this tool is sunglasses.... the light is very bright. As in hurt my eyes bright. When stamping an area, the light flashes and is quite jarring when you are not prepared. After our first use we saw near immediate results.... it does what it says it does. In conclusion, this removal device is built well, comes with several attachment heads that alter the focus at which removal takes place. The stamping method is my preferred way to use this IPL. We have seen some promising results after only 1 week of use!

Within the first three weeks, I saw the results. It is easy to use. With their app as a guide, I learned which head to use, the power settings, and which method is suitable for the area in which I use the device. At first, I felt the shots, but then I got used to them. I can assure you that it is not at all painful. Unlike epilators, which numb the skin after use, this IPL laser has no after-effects other than smooth skin!

I have thick dark hairs and naturally tan and this product works great for me! I read the reviews and didn’t get my hopes up that this would completely permanently remove the hair but it’s definitely gotten rid of 75% of the growth on my legs. All you have to do is shave once a week and use the laser right after. Normal shaving for me would grow back in 1 day. I saw immediately after the first use that i did not have to shave again until a week later. And the thickness has gone down immediately after one use. I tried the product on my arms and face and it works everywhere for me. Definitely recommend as an alternative to traditional laser hair removal if you want something less painful. Definitely worth the money!

Please do your research before purchasing this device. This device works best with pale skin tone and dark hair. For those of us with darker skin or tattoos, this device can cause problems. We weren't aware of those problems when we ordered the device and now can't use it. Among the warnings, do not use on scars, tattoos, if you have skin conditions, if you have brown or black spots, moles warts, birthmarks, if you been recently sun tanned or burned, if you have very dark skin. Do your research. That being said, it's a good looking device. It feels solid and, we suspect, works as advertised. It also comes with a good looking storage box. As annoyed as we are that we didn't know about all of the warnings before getting the device, we are VERY glad that the warnings were all written up and included in the instructions. That Braun allowed us to educate ourselves before using their IPL means that we were able to avoid potential harm. For that, we thank Braun. I don't know that we would recommend this product to everyone. If the warnings in the instructions don't apply to you, it may be wonderful.

Worked better than I thought it would. You do have to be consistent with your schedule to see a change. Also recommend that you clean the heads after each use. I’ve had a few issues with the glide feature. It will click multiple times before it flashes.
