Personally, I'm not an electric shaver type - I prefer a double edged blade for a really close shave... However, if you use something like Walh trimmers to knock off the rough stuff and then follow up with this puppy - BINGO! Also great for an on-the-fly touch up! The shaver and cap are made in Germany! I've owned and used mine for over two years now! NICE!!!

Good, basic razor for the price.

And I have a wallet that doesn't want to spend $150 on what might not be a better shave. Therefore, I use a combo of foil on my face and rotary on my neck and jawline. This shaver server the foil part decently.

Why I like my Braun 3049

Old one battery lasted 6-7 shaves. New one runs quieter and first use gave almost 14 shaves. Thank you Best Buy for providing notification when out of stock items are available.
