My brother in-law had always asked about electric razors, and with my sensitive skin, I recommenced it.. A week later, he called to thank me. Braun is my go to razor.

Great Father’s Day gift!

He always had Norelco shavers but based on reviews, I thought I would get him something different and if he didn’t like it, would just exchange it! He Absolutely loves it. He says it gives him the closest shave he every had!

Problems In <1 Year!

They all share the same problem. They don't last. I prefer the ones that can be used wet or dry. No matter what the manufacturer claims, water eventually finds it's way inside, eventually ruining the electronics inside. I've owned the Braun S5 for just under a year. It now randomly beeps when left off the charging/cleaning unit for more than a day. I do not buy these shavers to be disposable! I will now be forced to be seek warranty repair and be left without a shaver in the interim. This had been my favorite electric shaver, which makes this even more frustrating. Great shaver reduced to a one star review for reliability.

It comestibles with a cleaning station, which I can share it with my partner. Grate product!

It does everything like its predecessor without the noise of seven years of wear.
