Okay for beards but took forever to shave my dogs.

It is a good shaver, but not great. The cleaning mechanism is over rated.

The dock is kind of awkward but the shaver is great.

This was a gift for my son, Had all the features he needed.

I'm not that crazy about this razor. I had heard good things about Braun and hoped to like it, but the Norelco and Phillips triple head rotary type razors seem to do a better job for me.

I have been always using Philips shavers and wanted to give a try for Braun. Braun was brand choice in my childhood with high respect in Europe. Unfortunately, I did not work as well as Philips and even if I used few times during one year, it is making too much noise now and hurting my face while shaving. Definitely something wrong.

It shaves but not as close as my old one and the trimmer behind the shaver does not cut to well.

Both this for my father. I think my Norelco does a better job shaving my face.

Let me start by saying I have used a rotary razor (Phillips Norelco) since I started shaving. Their quality slipped and my latest replacement heads did less shaving of hairs and more of ripping them out of my face. No other rotary options...even the priciest...seemed to get around this complacency about the basics. I took a bet on a foil razor instead (gasp!) and chose Braun. Exceptional. Just exceptional. Smooth shave...closer than my Phillips Norelco rotary ever got. I was concerned about changing my shaving technique, but this razor is super forgiving and robust to sloppy technique. It actually gets hard to reach hairs (neck, upper lip) better than my rotary with less irritation. My only con is it’s a touch louder, but I don’t know why that would ever keep you from the other worldly shave this provides. Also be warned that the cleaning base will want regular cleaning solution refills, but it does keep it humming along I guess (less sold on this). I am super pumped to have made a bet on a foil razor and picked this very solid (albeit not literal most expensive) option. I think this is the sweet spot in the line up.

I’ve been shaving with an edger for years. Decided to try a real shaver to see if I could get a closer shave and completely eliminate razor bumps. Didn’t help, made razor bumps worst. Returned product and stuck with the edger I’ve always used.

i have thick hair, if i dont use this daily it become very hard to use and often takes repeated strokes to get one area, otherwise it only takes off patches at a time

If you like A razor that vibrates are your hand by this one I took it back I would never buy this brand again

It just doesn't get close enough to be a good shave

I bought this as replacement for barber foil shaver but it did not shave my head or face as close as other items. Returned and other items are no where as expensive as this.

The machine vibrates too much and it is not good for hands to hold.the shaving precision is not perfect too!

my spouse says this is better then any shaver he has had before, which includes several other name brands, which I will kindly decline to mention.

I love this shaver for keeping my head bald works great for face shaves also!
