I probably should have bought the better heavier one.

Razor isn't bad but refill shot cleaner all over the bathroom

Didn't work well for my legs, but my brother in law really liked it.

It’s an okay shaver, doesn’t really shave everything.

This was my first electric shaver and I think its not worth the money. I used it for 2 weeks and had to return it back. I didn't get close shave as expected and also started getting acne after using it for 2 days.

Tried this shaver for a few days and had to return it. Wasn't a close shave as a blade and took much longer to shave. Also didn't like the little cuts it gave me on my neck. I'll stick to using a razor.

Does not do a good job. Complicated to use with the cleaning apparatus. Very expensive and a $40 razer does a better job.

The shaving is not even close to a razor, and after using it, I need to reshave with a blade. At least for me I could not get a good shave

Wet or dry, a tough shave. Not nearly as good as it should be for the money. Too late to return it, or I would.

Cuts beard fair, but leaves or encourages ingrown hairs.

This purchase did not work out for me. Being African American it left my face with a hard stubble, not a close shave at all.

I looked over what is out there for shavers and came across this one..the series 7 7899cc. Really enjoy using it with foam...very clean shave...the series 9, though a good shaver did not warrant $300 bucks for me...most all the features are found in the series 7 for less $$. Also, I like the trimmer better (angled). Cleaning station a plus!!

this advert is for Braun 7899cc. this is a wet & dry shaver. advert falsely says "Shave while plugged in or away from an outlet. Direct-power capability allows you to use your shaver while it is charging" only non wet & dry can Shave while plugged in or away from an outlet. . Braun 790cc is dry use only. Thus 790cc can Shave while plugged in or away from an outlet. Direct-power capability allows you to use your shaver while it is charging, to minimize wait times. 790cc has a better clean/charge station with more features like quick clean.

Excellent shaver and I was using Braun shaver for last 5 years. I would like to update to series 9 pro .

This was the first electric razor that I've ever bought. My brother owns the same one. I went with Braun because I've heard how great their razors were and this does not disappoint. I have very thick facial hair and it gets the job done to where I can get a nice close shave. If I haven't shaved in over a week it take me about 20 minutes to get a close shave but other than that it generally takes about 10 minutes if you're doing a dry shave without shaving cream. As a wet dry with or without shaving cream it takes me about 5 minutes. Also make sure you brush all the hair out of the head and run it under water for 15 seconds before you put it into the cleaning station other wise the cleaing solution will be full of hair.

I did a lot of research on which electric razor to get and I originally was leaning toward the Norelco S9000 prestige due to reviews but then I saw an article giving the Braun 7 one of the best reviews. I will say I had a electric razor many years ago and I didn't like it one bit. This is miles and light years different. For something so simple it's an amazing device. People were saying not to expect the razor to give you a shave comparable to a manual shave and I have to say those people were WRONG! I will say that it take a little time to get used to it and deciding on what settings you want to use. I used to dread shaving and now I really want to shave frequently. I am just so surprised it's taken me so long to get this.

I have had multiple shavers in the past, and have had issues with getting ingrown hair and razor burn. My father has this shaver (dry only), and it worked perfectly for me. I was going to purchase the dry version of the shaver, but when I found the a wet/dry version just came out, I decided to pick this one up. All in all, great shaver for a great cost. 10/10 would recommend.

went through THREE BAD shavers where the charging unit would not dry the shaver (two in store and one shipped.) closest store is a good twenty minutes away and now I have to go back a fourth time. I called the toll-free customer service phone number after the second bad shaver to see if they could help out at all and they only offered to ship one, but I still had to return the defective one to the store. that one got here and what do you know; another defective charging unit. when you spend this much on a shaver; everything should work the first time
