This razor is very comfortable to use and does a good job in a short time. It is also easy to keep clean.

Replaced my second Series 7. The S9 is well worth the additional money. Shave is amazing. Quiet. Trimmer is improved. Shape and head float make it easy to use.

After doing a thorough research, I decided to purchase Braun Series 9 shaver. I do have sensitive skin and this shaver does a miracle job. Easy to use. Close shave. Would highly recommend this one.

This gives me the smoothest shave I’ve ever had with an electric razor. It’s a bit pricey but I wouldn’t trade it in for a different one. I love the self cleaning feature.

Had a series 5 Braun for years, Upgraded to series 9 and totally pleased. Shaves faster, smoother, closer and easier.

Razor works really well on most areas. Still takes some work where the “grain” changes direction on the neck to get a good clean shave. It’s nice it takes the same cleaning cartridges as the other models. Really easy to use and great battery life!

The series ( is so sleek and definetly shaves better than my series 5 & 7. Glad i purchased this the only thing i do not really like is the trimmer too small

Had 2 previous series and this one is by far the closest and most comfortable. I have taken it on several trips and battery has never ran down even on my week long trip. Very Happy!

I had the series 3 for years, it was the closest, best shave of all the razors I tried. I dropped it on a hard floor and broke something inside so I read the reviews of the series 9 and they were good. Anyhow I got the series 9 and I absolutely love it!! This is the greatest razor ever invented!! Every morning I look forward to shaving! Don't hesitate! This is the one!!

This thing is awesome. Always used panasonic but this cuts better and battery life is nuts. Still on same charge since purchase.

I have used Braun electric shavers for almost the last 20 years. I first owed the Syncro System 7680, which I loved. It lasted me over 10 years. Finally its battery wouldn't hold a charge and I moved on to the Series 7 wet/dry. It lasted me about 2 years, but it just stopped working. I decided to upgrade to the Series 9. I wanted to love it, but I can't say there is much I even like about it. 1)The design is worse than the previous models. You load the alcohol wash from the back, which isn't a big deal, but the previous models you just popped it in from the front and didn't need to move the base. In order to load it from the back, you have to pick up the whole system and turn it around. As I said, not a big deal, it is just annoying and was much better before. 2) The previous units let you know if it needs to be washed, how much detergent was left, etc with a light next to a description of the status. It was simple. The series 9 tries to make it too clean and removed all of the descriptions so basically you have to figure out the status of the shaver by blinking lights. 3) My particular unit doesn't charge in the base anymore. The shaver slides down in the base so the charging connectors don't connect. I have to hold it up at the right ankle in order to have it charge in the base. I can see this happening after a long period, but this started after about a year of use. 4) The worst part of all - the replaceable shaving heads don't last. I have gone through 5 in the past year. The last one lasted me 2 weeks. The screens that cover the blades break very easily. I attached a few pictures. On one side the screen completely broke apart and fell off. On the other side the screen cracked. The replacement heads are expensive. At the rate I am replacing them, it would be cheaper for me to purchase a new series 9 shaver every year. That is ridiculous. The quality is very poor. I have since moved on to using a Panasonic Arc5 razor and have been very happy with it.

Overall this Braun 9 is the best Braun shaver I have owned. It gives a great shave and is easy to clean. I have not tried it wet.

Let me start off staying its a good looking product!! Hands down. Also I've had to return this item 3x and now I'm done. Had the same issue with each of them. The razor lock would come on in the process of shaving!! Then it shuts down and doesn't power back on. Talked to their customer service and they sent me a 15$ pocket shaver to use while they repaired defective models.. i returned yesterday for the last time and got a Phillips norelco 9700. It's a shame this item is having these issues. It gives a pretty good shave when used wet.

I never had a electric shaver before so I had no idea what to expect. So, I give it some time before writing this review. This shaver is very stylish and I like that the blades can stay clean and usuable compared to my old razor. The old razor (a store brand but I also had Gillette which gave the closet shave) would not last as long and also cut my skin if not careful. This shaver has not come close to that as much as I tried! My only thing was the method of shaving. I have to pretend that I am painting. I have to do small back and forth strokes wihich can make the experience slower. However, I tend not have too much of an issue with this because now I use the shaver sometimes twice a day. The experience of not being worried and the smooth feeling afterwards compels me to shave more.

The best electric razor I have used to date in my 40 years of shaving! Closest shave you can get with an electric shaver. Being able to use it in both wet & dry conditions while maintaining its 'close shave' performance makes it an all-encompassing hygiene tool for men!

My Braun Series 9 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver is quality made. It gives an excellent shave, easy to hold and easy to clean.
