This replaced my 20 year old Braun shaver, and what a difference the new shaver makes! The shave is much closer, the beard trimmer does a better job of keeping my beard a uniform length, and it takes less time to get my shaving done

I have owned a Braun shavers for over 25 yr. The new series 9, model 9295CC, gives me a better shave than my series 3. Overall a very good handling and feel to this shaver. I have not used the Cleaner unit yet. Been cleaning the shaver with water. The only Con I have is with Braun model designations within a series. They make it very confusing. I recommend reading the specifications carefully and what comes with the unit. Otherwise very good product.

The replacement shaving heads are expensive & I had to buy a replacement after I found mold inside the body/handle of the first one when trying to clean it. I've started setting the new one in front of a small fan to dry more quickly before placing it onto the charging station after each use. Hopefully that will prevent the mold from growing in the new one.

Only Decent for using often, Every Couple days because once the hair grows more than that, this shaver no longer shaves. It's only good for shaving often. Other than that you'd have to trim your beard first, then use this.

Coming from daily manual razer this was a great surprise for me. I have used Norelco around 2 years back but was never satisfied with same. Recently i heard about this product and purchased same. To my surprise this is an amazing electric razer. Great close shaver and its cleaning dock keeps it clean and lubricated. Third day shave also goes great, no hair pulled no pain! I love the razer! Thanks Braun for coming out with series 9 shaver!

Tried them all. This is best shave. Very well made. Love the automatic cleaning cartridge. Expensive

I have used electric (rotary) all my life until 5 years ago when I tried foil. After researching I bought the Panasonic ES-LV81. It was a very good razor. I was thinking about replacing it and again did the research which place the Braun and Panasonic as the best. I decided to try the Braun and am very happy I did. One key difference is that I can still use the Braun Series 9 if I don't shave over the weekend, it does not pull at my whiskers at all.

Shaves very close, battery has good life between charging, cleaning is easy to accomplish.

Works amazing!! It gives you a very close shave and leaves the skin without any cuts.

I'm a long-time electric shaver user, most recently using Brain Series 7 shavers. I've also used high-end Remington, Norelco, and Porsche Design shavers. Hands down, this gives the closest shave of any, even shaving dry with pre-shave. Using Edge shave cream and/or shaving wet in the shower is closer than shaving with a blade. Highly recommended, especially since the US version of the wet/dry model, which is much less expensive, is available.

Bought this shaver when my 1 year old Panasonic series 5 started to get bogged down shortly after turning it on (you can hear it in the motor), and the pop-out trimmer of the Panny also stopped working. The Panny's trimmer is a flip-up design with too many flimsy parts, where this Braun's trimmer is a more simple design that slides up to activate, which feels more resilient. Its motor also remains at the same speed upon turning it on.

This is a really great shaver, and is much better than my old rotary, but it does have 2 minor drawbacks. First, it has a hard time with neck hairs. I don't know why, maybe because my neck hairs grow in the wrong direction! Second, it always leaves a few uncut hairs below the nostrils. Still, I consider these to be minor problems. If not for those 2 items, I'd give it 5 stars.

Great product close shave easy to get used to. Would definitely buy again

Love it! I had tried a Series 7 (790cc I believe) and while it was good, I felt this did a much better job at catching stubble for a close and comfortable shave.
