Overall great shaver. Wet shaving definitely has its benefits. My facial hair tends to run flat against my skin, and this razor does have problems picking it up at times. Other than that its a great razor.

I finally made the jump to an electric shaver over the Gillette Razors. It gives you a very close shave assuming you shave against the grain. Way less irritation & razor bumps than I used to get with a Gillette Mach 5. If you have sensitive skin, buy it, it's well worth the price.

Shaver works well and is very easy to use and swivels.

Fantastic razor, even better than the other Braun that I replaced with this one. Like all the Braun razor's I have had the quality is better than any other razors out there. I have used only Braun 3 razors in the last 48 years. They last a long time and have great service.

Don’t recommend for thicker hair. It gives me a basic trim, but it’s spotty; I have to follow up with a beard trimmer with no guard because it doesn’t pick up everything. Pros are that it holds a charge well, is wireless, and can be used in the shower and with shaving cream.

Switched from a rotary razor to this, and was worried it would not work as well. So far, I'm really impressed with it!

My first Braun shaver lasted about a decade. This is my second and it gives me absolutely the BEST SHAVE, including any blade, I have ever had in my life...bar none!!!

I did a lot of online review research before this purchase, I was skeptical about making the switch to an electric after razor shaving for many many years. However, this shaver does a better job than I expected. It's a slight more time consuming to use than a razor but I can do other thinks while shaving.

Don't let the price scare you; this is one of the best electric shavers I have ever used. 3-4 day growth, cuts through it like butter with no snags. I have tried several different electric shavers and they all caused skin irritation, not this one. Trust me, this is the shaver we have all been waiting for!

First thing, let it be known I am an old school bald headed African American who never thought a electric razor could come close to that of my mach 3!!!, for shaving my head. Let me tell you this Braun Series 9 wet dry electric razor has made a believer out of me. Yes I may have to use a pre shave, but it shave 95% as close as my(Mach-3)razor did, but the best part of a good quality electric shaver is that one/I can shave every morning. I love the closeness that I get to start out "everyday!" with, an we all know that you do not run a bladed razor on your bare scalp every morning but with this electric shaver the blades never touches the skin, allowing for you to use it every morning. I too was skeptical but once educated (on the tips for the closest shave using a electric shaver & the advantages of a good pre-shave) I would not go back to a razor for nothing. An Braun's customer service is top notch, totally amazing! I had a couple of issues, they addressed and handle them speedly I am very happy and please with this purchase.

I have tried lots of electric shavers and have never had one shave as close as this one. It truly feels as close as a blade.

I've owned the Braun series 5 for years, and as long as you shave every day, It gives a good shave. But after 2 days growth, it tends to pull and pinch, causing irritation. I've now used the new series 9 with a 4 day beard, and it shaves very smooth without pinching or pulling. There may be shavers that shave closer, but for those of us that only shave once or twice a week, it can't be beat for smoothness.

The cleaner is quite an outstanding feature of this shaver. The shave is comfortable, but not as close as with a razor. However, the convenience and speed are worth the money. Gets warm but not hot to feel. Also the motor is quiet and the product quite light.

Has worked as described. The cleaning station is a perfect combination. After each shave I can place the shaver inside of the station and basically forget about it. After cleaning cycle it turns off automatically. Thanks!

I had an older generation Series 5 shaver which served me well for many years. I liked the feature set of the Series 9 so I bought it on sale. I was surprised by how comfortable the Series 9 shaver head is. It seems pricey when compared to the Series 5 & 7 shavers but well worth it in my opinion.

I have had a few Braun shavers and toothbrushes from Braun, and they were all excellent. This shaver is excellent as well! I personally don't like the circular ones and prefer the design of this one. If you're like me, get it!

After purchasing this object for a great price I have been using this shaver all the time. When I shave it does not leave any scratches. This object is very light and is perfect for anyone that likes shaving. I would recommend this item to everyone who is looking for a great shaver for a great price!

The clippers are great for facial hair and take off the hair on the face as needed to and it is painless. Just feels as it’s just wiping off my face, other than that I guess that’s what you pay off in the price and it’s cleaning kit but other than that, it’s nothing special could be/ should be a little cheaper than price it is advertised for

I'm absolutely amazed by this shaver. No skin irritation on sensible skin and very good shaving that last two days. On the downsize, I had to buy consumables oil and cleaning product for the Clean and Charge system, and they are not cheap. So high quality, and pricy shaver, and also high maintenance.
