The cleaning base gives a smooth clean appearance and does not have any intrusive lighting when not in use. The early warning of when cleaning fluid is running low is a great help instead of just surprising when it is out. Razor itself gives a smooth close shave and trimmer is easy to operate. It should be noted the display is not the 7 segment display as shown but a digital gauge.

I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. He mentioned he was interested in one, nothing fancy. I had researched before in several blogs and this one was mentioned as the top one. Best part is, it can be used with or without water. It was expensive, but I can see it was money well spent. My husband is bald by choice, and this tool is great for him. No more nasty cuts. Smooth, clean shave that lasts. He is happy, so, so am I. :)

Bought this for my hubby for Christmas. He is very happy with it. It took him a bit to get used to working with it, learning how to clean it and maintain this excellent shaver. He really likes it and has used it everyday since he received it. Glad I spent the extra to get him this quality shaver.

I am very happy with this Braun 9. I havit for a year now. I use it almost every day and it works perfectly every time. I can still use the same blades after 12 months.

This razor performs very well. It cleans itself up with the special cleaning pods.

My wife bought this for Fathers day for me. I have used electric shavers for many years. I started with Norelco shavers and I moved to Braun shavers to see how they were and to my surprise I got the closest shaves I have ever got. I cannot say How excellent the Series 9 shaver is. It gives the closest shave I have ever received. I am very Happy with this shaver and I recommend it to all.

I have owned Braun Shavers for over 25 years; BUT the Series 9 has taken shaving for me to the next level. MOST COMFORTABLE SHAVE I've ever had from an electric shaver, and shaves almost as close as a razor. If you're in the market for a new electric shaver, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Braun Series 9!

Nice Shaver. I upgraded from Series 7. The only thing I liked better on the 7 series was the trimmer part. My 7 series trimmed the longer hairs a lot better than the 9 series. The charge dock is a shiny finish that shows scratches the first time you clean it. I liked the 7 series dock better for this fact. Overall, nice shaver.

Very quiet shave, smooth, close comfortable shave. This is my third Braun shaver in 16 years.

Easy to use, charge and clean. Attractive shaver provides a close shave with minimal effort. The Series 9 may look somewhat similar to cheaper Braun models but that’s where the difference ends. I had a series 7 and a 5. The Series 9 best to date. Local Best Buy had similar pricing to other on-line stores so bought local.

Shaves well and quickly. Easy to use and recharge. Cleaning system keeps it in top condition.
