I went from using the Philips razor to this huge difference, the floating heads of the Phillips do a decent job but the solid heads of this one cut the stubborn hairs much better for me.

This is my 1st electric shaver. I am still learning on how to use it, I have been informed some tips on shaving with electric shaver resulting with more of a successful complete smooth shave. Less mess compared to manual shaving. One drawback requires shaving everyday over manual razor shave. Overall pretty decent unit.

Very nice shaver, well made. Cleansing station great. Does not give any better shave than a quality shaver at half the price. But it does as good a job as well as any electric shaver can. I bought this because of the cleaning station. If not for that, I would have bought a less expensive shaver.

I've owned Braun shavers for over 20 years, and it seems that the quality of the shave keeps going down, but it keeps getting smoother. I used Norelco previously. Both work, but the Braun design is easier for me to use. My old 5000 series still gives a better shave (but the battery doesn't hold a charge)! Replaced my series 5 since the fluid would shoot out when cleaning (after a few years of use). I found that if I used the cleaner every day, my shave was better. 1st time for that with these shavers. If I didn't get a great price, I would have gone for the 7 series.

My husband has Dementia and when he shaved with his old razor he would miss many areas because because it required many passes before getting all the hairs. The Braun gives a close, complete shave with a minimum number of passes. Definitely worth the money.

So I bought this to replace an aging but trusty Norelco 8890xl I used to cut my scalp on a daily basis. After doing some research I settled on switching to a foil razer and couldn't be happier. This Series 9 Braun cuts clean and smooth with no irritation. A+!

I had the Braun 8830 for over 20 years.... it died. Purchase this new Braun.. I couldn't be happier. It uses the same cleaning fluid cartridges that my old Braun used. But it is really a nice razor with the little trimmer that slides up . Worth the money

cause it's fantastic! It looks cool and it shaves like a dream. I love the chrome finish. it reminds me of my old Chevy with the chrome bumpers. It gives a close shave easy to hold and i like the five shaving elements as i role the shaver up and down on my face.

Best electric razor that I've used. Braun Series 9 is an investment at $300. Smoother and more comfortable shave than Braun 7. Neck area is still a bit of an issue.

One superb shaver and I had the best norelcos as well. I've also had the series 7 and this shaver left the 7 in the dust.
