Wet use feature, ergonomic design, and closeness of shave are all great standouts. I’ve owned previous Braun series shavers and wondered if the upgrades were truly worth it. I‘ve been very pleasantly surprised on each occasion.

Found this electric razor to better than other brands of electric razor. Gives a pretty close cut but still not as close as a safety razor. That said I would still recommend this razor over other electric razors. I have a thick beard and seem to cut with easy

I've been a Braun user for over 40 years. My beard growth pattern has changed with age and my old Braun shaver (Series 5) could no longer provide a smooth shave. I tried a rotary model. No good! The Series 9 Braun is absolutely the best shave I've had in my 70 years!

This shaves beautifully. Point blank. Period. As with any new thing, you have to find a system that works for you. Wet or dry, cream or oil, shower or sink. Buy it. It works. The only thing it kinda sorta loses points for is the trimmer. Either put one on the device that really works, or leave it off. Ciao

I purchased the razor during a black friday special to replace my series 7 razor that was not performing as well. While this is very quality shave, and superior to how my much older series 7 was performing, I am not sure if the performance warrants the price premium vs. a new series 7 foil shaver.

Like it so far. About $50 more expensive for what it is... and the chrome looks cheap. Would prefer a black chrome version or some other color... but plastic chrome? Would also prefer a LEATHER zip up case.

Replacing my Series 7 after many years so going to Series 9 should be a step up. It is lighter and has a nicer modern design. I don't think I am getting the same close shave like I did with the 7. I am not sure what makes this a step up from the 7.

In general I like it but I was expecting more. It’s better than my old Braun series 7 but still you need to go over the area you want shave multiple time to get what you want. Overall it’s a high quality product and looks great.

Great Shaver, my head is just sensitive so it didnt work for me. I definitely recommend you to try it though…

This is by far the best shaver ive gotten in my whole life. No irritation and no itching after using it.

I moved over from safet blades as I kinda got over them not giving me a close enough shave. This shaver takes some getting used to, but it shaves closer than my blade did. I really like the pivoting head and ability to use wet.

This razor does an excellent job of giving a clean, close shave. The trimmer is wide enough to actually trim. I was never that pleased with my last razor so I went back to Braun. The automatic cleaning does a good job, but I could take it or leave it.

Overall a very good electric shaver. For its price tag it should be able to shave anything. But I will still find patches it simply won't shave. Best use is for stubble, it will shave as close as a razor.

I have tried most every brand and model of shaver. Most are adequate but Braun, at this level, is the clear winner. Never mind its beautiful aesthetics. This Braun truly has brawn. I don't care how it work, it just works great.

I have been using a different brand of electric razor for years. The last two I got from them did not give me a good shave after two months. I had to replace the head. I have had no problems with this one and it wqorks better then anything I have had in years.

For me it was worth every penny. I always used Norelco and thought they did a good job but Braun is now at the top of my list. Smooth as a razor shave. And that's not hype. It is their top-of-the-line shaver and deserves that spot.
