This is my second series 9....both broke down less than 6 months after normal use...returned the first one as it was still under warranty and got a replacement...same model....also purchased warranty knowing such problem had occurred once....but now the second one also dead.....both broke down of the same reason....somehow after certain period of use the lock/unlock function keeps turning itself on.....i know the so call pressing and holding for 3 second or plugging in power cord to reset the shaver....but none seems to work or solve the problem at all.....even worst is that the fully charged shaver will often switched itself on and off and buzzing overnight resulting in flat battery the next morning......yes perhaps it is the best shaver I ever used....not gonna deny this fact......but nonetheless SUPER SUPER VERY frustrated and very disappointed...high price yet short lived......i will NOT BUY and will NOT RECOMMEND anymore

The razor is good overall! I like the shave and the ease of use.

The shaver seems to be solidly built and even with extended use it does not get too warm to touch. It shaves my cheeks fine; however, on my neck I do find it leaves occasional hairs. In addition, switching to a shaver I find myself shaving everyday to keep the same look/degree of growth compared to every 3 days or so with a razor.

Simple to use and clean. Just don't like the cleaning solution.

Expected a closer shave. Also head doesnt lock in place as designed. Series 7 is still a better cutting razor.

I like the larger shaving area and the wet and dry. I little pricey but I have been a Braun user for many years.

Nice close shave every time. Bought to shave chin and keep head bald. Works great.

Gives a fast shave but does not cut hairs lying close to the skin. Too expensive to fail.

I bought this to replace my Series 7, dry shaver. I ended up returning it and getting the 7 wet/dry instead because the ahave was not quite as good as the 7, in my opinion. For the money, I personally prefer the 7.

Battery is at full charge and the razor cuts off every time o use it. For about 5 minutes. It’s really annoying. For a quick shave it’s best but a long shave can never complete

After a year of reading reviews and watching several YouTube reviews before taking the $$ plunge on my very first shaver I'm ecstatic on how incredible this shaver is. It leaves my face "razor" smooth (literally). Thanks to all the YouTube reviewers making the decision to try this razor...very happy!!

I bought this shaver since i heard a lot about it from my barber and friends. It was expensive, but I got it on Sale! It’s not going to replace a traditional shave that you get in the comfort of your home or at the barbershop. It will however, get the job done when you need it to.
