Sideburn trimer needs to be better engineered, it does not trim right.

I bought this razor to replace a previous high-end Braun razor that I accidentally left in Europe and, boy, has the product quality dropped over the last five years! My previous razor felt solid and tool-like, could take-off three day stubble in one pass, and could be used while plugged-in. This new razor is a pale imitation of its forebears and a clear testament to the overzealous use of accountants to slash manufacturing costs. This new (and yet strangely more expensive) version has the same cheap flimsy plastic feel you might get from a Macdonald's toy. After opening the packaging, I had to wait thirty minutes for the razor to charge before use, because you can’t use the charging cable to actually run the razor and the battery was shipped completely depleted. Once charged, what followed was one of the most painful shaves of my life (just behind using a free motel disposable razor without shaving cream). Despite going over my stubble with the trimmer first, and shaving down my face, every time I dared to change direction, my stubble snagged on the blades and I let out a yelp or a cuss. It took about 10 minutes and I still have a few whisker clusters that I’m going to have to revisit when I’ve rebuilt my pain tolerance reserves. It looks like I’m going to add extra minutes to my morning routine and expect the pain of an old fashioned manual shave, but without the satisfaction of a smooth outcome. So here is my quandary. Do I take up the satisfaction guaranteed return policy, ship it back to Braun and wait 60-90 days for a reply while I grow a ZZ Top style beard in the meantime, or do I live with the pain day-to-day in the name of a clean shave?

Over priced and did not meet my expectations. It does not come close to a clean shave as does using a regular razor. I am on a lot of blood thinners and my doctor told me to get a electric razor and I thought that Braun would do a better job.

Braun is a good product. You should buy the next one down because this model does no more......in any category. Shave is not closer, and I can simply find no other advantage of this model over other Braun models. That said.....you should still buy a Braun

I bought this for my son in 2018. He loves it! This is 2nd one, newer series.

Braun is the best. This one doesn't have the cleaning station, but otherwise is great purchase.

Great shaver. My 89 yr old Dad saw on TV and put it on his list to Santa.

Razor does a great job on my cheeks but my beard is too thick and curly for it to be effective on neck area. End up having to use a wet razor and that defeats the purpose. Not veery happy with purchase.

I had used a series 5 some years ago and was thrilled with that when I first bought it. With this one, it didn't give me as good of results as I recalled from the earlier version. Maybe it takes time for my face to adjust to the product. We'll see.

I like how smooth it glides and how much ground it covers but for the High price, it does not even do as good a job as the series 7. This takes longer and doesn't get everything.

Closest shave I have gotten from an electric razor.

Using Braun many years, this one is worse in this class. The head is not shave full. In 5 minutes of shaving, shaver head start to be a very hot. Cleaning is normal.
