Older Braun shavers were better. This one is ok. Save some money and buy the 7 series. You will be happy.

Prior to purchasing my husband a razor for his birthday, we looked up reviews and went for the best rated shaver and it seemed the Braun was rated the highest so we purchased it. With thr protection plan this was almost $400. My husband charged it and though it’s a beautiful shaver, this razor failed to save whole areas of his Face and below his jaw and neck. Literally whole 1-2” wide area weren’t cut at all. The pivot head doesn’t not float and move enough to do a close shave on anyone with an angular face. We went back and exchanged it for a new version of thr Phillips he was using.

Works well, but for what it costs, it feels like cheap plastic

I have previously owned a seven series shaver and was disappointed with th fact that I couldn’t get a close shave unless I went over the same spot numerous times while pressing down hard. That was some years ago and I decided to give the series 9 a try in hopes they might have improved the model. Sadly, I still have the same issues.

Does not turn on anymore, I bought it while on vacation and when I got home I had nothing but trouble with it. It was out of my return time.

I bought this shaver as it was advertised to be able to handle heavy hair and rough faces. This is not the case. it did all right on like the checks, but the neck it was horrible. No matter how hard or how many passes, it wouldn't get the hair on the neck line.

The quality is not worth the price................

I was respected more than what the product daz it’s so expensive

It doesn’t cut thoroughly, had to use a razor to get my sides which defeats the point of the shaver. Got cut twice on my upper lip. For the price I would expect an amazing product.

Braun used to sell good products, but the MBA's have ruined this company just like many others now. Braun products are now built on the cheap - while they charge more - and are very poor quality. I spent hundreds of dollars on this razor, and the cheap on/off switch just fell apart. Really ???

Not sure if my unit was defective but it struggled to cut several different lengths of hair. I had to go back over with my OneBlade. Returned the product and will be sticking with my $40 dollar OneBlade.

My norelco was just not giving me a good shave anymore, even after head replacements. It was the top of the line shaver. So I thought I'd try the Braun. I do wish there was a way to try it first before buying it. I gave it a 6 week try using several ways wet, dry, before shower, after shower etc. It was not as good as the norelco. I had to finish shaving after with the norelco. Those thin white whiskers just don't want to be cut with an electric shaver. The Braun is a nice, well made razor. Was sad it did'nt work for me. I would recommend to a friend. I'd let him try mine and if it worked id sell him mine.

It is better to get 7 Series much better performance cheaper product I have to literally shave every single day with this but with 7 Series it will last at least two if not three days

Bought in Dec 2023 and here in Sept 24 less than a year old the head is falling apart - dont waste your money on this piece of junk!

Does not shave clean a rough beard without several repetitions

Tried the shaver several times at several different hair lengths. Tried dry shaving, wet shaving, everything. Watched multiple videos on how to use this specific shaver but it just wouldn't cut any of my hair.

Couldn’t geta clean shave at all. Returned within 2 weeks.
