Im a die hard gillette shaver, but for $50 off the $199, i spend every few yrs on blades! This is 95% close as the blade with no cream or washing up, saves alot of time! If im going to a wedding or something formal, i will get the blade out, until than im sold!

Is perfect for shave, this machine is modern and very good.

On my 2nd 9 series. The first one came apart at the head. I thought it was rare and odd but took everything back to the store and they replaced it via the Best Buy extended warranty. Worth every penny, and it isn't expensive but a good investment. I like the quiet and smooth operation and the cleaner works well. I would recommend this razor to anyone but the initial outlay is not cheap. Had I not gotten the warranty, I would be out a lot of money. If the 2nd one holds up, and yes I got another warranty, I will be happy. Meantime, there are too many parts in the shave head (not foil or cutters) that can go bad. Cheap plastic does not become a razor that costs this much but again, the selling point is the way it shaves. Had I not had issues with the first one failing, I'd give it an excellent score. If you can get it for a better price or get a good extended warranty, you'll be fine. If not, you're taking a risk. Would I recommend the razor? Yes but with the knowledge that it could fail.

Great razor I’m very susceptible to ingrown hairs and razor burn. After trying to suffer through the recommended acclimation period I returned the norelco 9500 for the Braun Seties 9. This is the best most comfortable electric shaver. No razor burn since day 1. Owned for a few weeks use it every other day and live it.

Very good shaving machine easy to use wet and dry hair

I've used a few electric brands over the years but was never completely satisfied. I read the good reviews about the series 9 and decided to give it a try. First time I used it the shave was fast and smooth. I didn't have to go over spots numerous times to get good results. I really like the cleaning/charging station. Drop the razor in (it will tell you when it needs cleaning) and the station cleans and maintains it. The razor is light and comfortable to use and I wouldn't have believed it but the shave is as good as I've gotten with a blade. The Braun 9 series is a winner.

My husband loves this razor. This is his 3rd one. It is kind of expensive, but he wanted an extra one to keep packed in his travel bag.

Have only used it on my head. It's the shaver you want. Mows through hair easily, don't see how you could nick yourself with it. The equivalent of having shaved with a blade a few hours ago.

I bought this Braun wet/dry electric shaver for my husband . He loves it and he has had many others . This is best one yet .

Bought this for my 90 year old father and it works great on his face. Shaves close to the face. Had the Series 7 but love the Series 9. Glad I bought it for him. Works really good.

It’s the first electric razor I’ve had in a long time. It’s marvelous I really like how smooth the shave is and how quickly I can shave.

Rewind 10 years ago- I had a bad experience with electric shavers as the two I purchased years ago were horrible and couldn’t cut hair for nothing. I was skeptical when I purchased this one but so glad I did. Cuts so close it feels like a straight razor afterwards.

This is the best in electric shavers and the price is way better than other retailers.

Once again an excellent shaver in all aspects, have owned/used Braun shavers for 30+ years, Always very satisfied.

The Braun is an excellent electric shaver. It's comfortable, easy to travel with, and the cleaning station is a nice frill. Thus, five stars. However, it's not a blade. No electric shaver is. If you want a shave that produces a baby skin-smooth shave, there is no option other than a blade and brush. Of course, a blade is more hassle, risks cuts, etc. Depending on my mood, I use a blade or the Braun. Just don't think that the Braun can replace a blade, if you really want the smoothest shave possible.
