Just don’t love the formula anymore. Huge fan of the OG, but this game’s combat is obtuse. It punishes you with so many counterattacks and status ailments and other nonsense that I just could not get into it. The charm is still there, but the gameplay was not for me.

If you enjoyed the past two BD titles you'll enjoy this one, but the changes to the speed system hurt battles and BD's art style doesn't hold up as well on the Switch compared to the 3DS. The game is also much more straightforward and easier than the past titles.

Excellent game for those of us who like classic RPGs

The game is an absolute grind with a mediocre story. The battles are fun except for boss fights. All bosses are damage sponges and hit extremely hard.

Not as fun as octopus though traveler. Difficulty seems off, too much grinding to be fun and the story is boring. Graphics are weird

Not as good as the OG. Honestly loved the first Bravely Default, but 20+ hours into BD2 and I'm just not enjoying it as much, it's not bad but it's just not doing it for me.

It has some good turn based battle mechanics but personally I do not care for the characters, story or the job system.

More of the same JRPG formula. There are other titles that are more innovative on the Switch.

If youve played the previous games in the series this is not much different. Basically the same game with a different story. X id not like the art style at all and the story could not hold my interests at all. Game became very monotonous and repetative quickly.

Hi all, please avoid this terrible title. Square Enix took away all that was fun and unique from the first game and stuck us with this not at all fun sequel. Take care all.

This is my first time playing a Bravely Default entry but I'm quite familiar with the series overall due to my cousin and brothers. As a fan of Final Fantasy (everything before FFXI), Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest and JRPGs overall, this one is a welcome addition to the pantheon of classic entries into the genre, especially the turn-based ones. Highly recommend.

I couldn't make up my mind on what to get for a long time so when I finally got the DS I got quite a few games I have to say this one is my favorite love playing it for hours on end until I have to go charge it again....lol. there's a lot to explore there's as much fighting as you want to do it's just an engrossing game very happy!

It's really fun it's a great take old school turn based JRPGs

Squarenni never miss. Great little JRPG for fans of Square Ennix games.

The game is great, but I doubt Best Lie will deliver on the pre-order bonuses. They are not what they used to be.
