Great if there's nothing else to play

My Favorite New Series

The Brave/Default system, art design, characters, really make this game (and the series) stand out as a whole. The story itself isn't as complex as the first game or other JRPG's but the gameplay and characters more than make up for it, at least for me.

If you love JRPGs, get it

You are a shipwrecked sailor washed up on shore, and you join a princess and her protector/knight to recover 4 crystals that were stolen when her kingdom was destroyed. The combat is fun, all "jobs" can be used by all characters, and there are some interesting side characters.

An Old School Style Grind em JRPG with Modern Glow

A fantastic addition to the series, so if you loved the original you should definitely get this one. The battle system is a bit gimmicky and the game is built towards finding ways to cheese but all the different classes are fun and interesting and the story is good too.

Amazing RPG

You can take your normal turn, or you can save it, or you can go all in and use your next 4 attacks all at once. But if you don't defeat your enemy you're completely helpless. Beautiful artwork and soundtrack. Another classic rpg created by Square Enix, just for the Nintendo Switch.
