At first sight, the Breville Toaster has a steep pricetag. Since we had rewards to utilize, we chose it as a "splurge" item. So happy we did - it was well worth the money!! The part I like the best, is being able to lift the handle and see how done the item is, and release for continuous toasting. My husband likes the button for "just a little more". This works so well for us, since I like my toast light, and he likes medium. Love it!!

Toaster always seems to burn, regardless of the setting. The only way that I was able to get my toast right with this thing is to stand right there and watch so I can manually trip the lever and retrieve my toast. I was extremely disappointed with this purchase even BEFORE one of the slots stopped working just a couple of months after purchase. Now it will only burn one slice at a time. If you're looking for a "deluxe" toaster, keep looking. If you're the kinda person that only likes eating extra burnt toast, one slice at a time, then this is the machine for you. You may also be interested in this if you are looking for an expensive prop to complete that stainless look in your kitchen.

I LOVE my new toaster! Super sturdy construction. I love how easy it is to adjust the “doneness”. I love the “little more” button too. My bagel is perfection every time!!

This is the real deal. Not only gets the job done, but allowing me to check the toast “status” at anytime is awesome. Quit getting those $10 cheap ones and give yourself some quality life. Recommended!

Still getting used to this toaster. Love the "bit more" feature. Wish it had a button though for only 2 slices of toast. It takes 4 slices and the whole thing still heats up when there are just 2 slices in it. My previous Cuisinart toaster had this added feature.

Very sleek looking and works great. Easy to toast up to 6 breads

Most toasters are 1000 watts, this one is 1800, so there's a higher likelihood that things you toast can burn easier. Luckily, the cancel button works quickly. Still, really like this toaster but keep an eye on what you're toasting - a little over two seems to be a good setting.
