Very nice well built toaster; however, it does not toast bread evenly. Both ends are burnt & the middle is barely toasted.

Not all heating elements working! Edges of bread much darker than center of toast. Not sure where to call for a replacement!

Lasted 3 years then stopped working. Expensive toaster worked great then started to toast half way.

This was not really what we were looking for and went back to our typical 4-slot toaster.

This toaster has a lot of problems...never works right, had to exchange for another because it wouldnt heat on one side and this new one has a glitchy button...too expensive for junk product

My husband loves this toaster! It toasts evenly and holds the longer slices of bread easily. Very happy with this purchase.

The gap is really a non-issue - toasted my hoagie rolls, just fine. 4 slices of regular toast? OMFG I love this toaster! Bagels too... No more $10 toasters for this guy!

A bit more button saves a lot of aggregation about getting the perfect shade of toast. I’ve been awed by this machine since yesterday! I use setting 3 for Panera Bread Tomato Basil bread and when the toast comes out I use the bit more button. I get the shade I want and the toast is delicious and crusty like I want it.

This toasted only one side of the bread. I called the manufacturer’s support line. After having me turn the bagel button on and off with no change in the result, the representative agreed that the product was defective. I took it back to Best Buy and got a refund.

Worth twice what I paid for it 7 years ago (don’t tell BESTBUY).

A simple toaster that toasts! Neither glamorous nor exciting..... it does the job. No removable tray at the bottom to clean up the crumbs. Makes it cumbersome to clean.

We only had this toaster for less than 3 years and all of a sudden it just stopped working this past week. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The price is to high for it to just stop and not be repairable as the warranty is already up.

Digital bars started working whacky. Then the inconsistent toasting started. It was great when we first got it, but for the price point it surely should have lasted longer than 2.5 years. Sadly but thankfully , I have a toaster that was a quarter the price and over 20 years old in the “bull pen” that is still working . Pulled out of retirement, looks like s!?t but it does its job, still. Thats embarrasing Breville , really….

This toaster is way over priced and didn't last any longer than any other toaster. Guarantee is only for 12 months. Our mechanism to hold the toast down started malfunctioning just after the one year mark.

2nd expensive Breville product that bit the dust. Kettle 1st lid hinge broke after 1 year use, now toaster after 3 years quit. Expensive, cheaply made products - Breville will want to take this off line and then when one does you never get a follow up. Stay away. I purchased both items because I was tired of inexpensive items packing up in short order. These were no better.

This toaster, like another long-slot toaster from KITCHEN AID, cannot properly toast a piece of bread without having seriously, unacceptable burning on the toast edges. This has been reported by many other reviewers on other on-line sites. I returned the toaster and bought the comprable KITCHEN AID. As mentioned, it behaved similarly! We can send a man to the moon but we cannot make even a $100 toaster that does its job properly.
