    A simple toaster that toasts! Neither glamorous nor exciting..... it does the job. No removable tray at the bottom to clean up the crumbs. Makes it cumbersome to clean.

    Loved the looks and how it worked until it stopped

    We only had this toaster for less than 3 years and all of a sudden it just stopped working this past week. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The price is to high for it to just stop and not be repairable as the warranty is already up.

    Limped in to 2.5 years of service

    Digital bars started working whacky. Then the inconsistent toasting started. It was great when we first got it, but for the price point it surely should have lasted longer than 2.5 years. Sadly but thankfully , I have a toaster that was a quarter the price and over 20 years old in the “bull pen” that is still working . Pulled out of retirement, looks like s!?t but it does its job, still. Thats embarrasing Breville , really….

    This toaster is way over priced and didn't last any longer than any other toaster. Guarantee is only for 12 months. Our mechanism to hold the toast down started malfunctioning just after the one year mark.

    Expensive price not reflected in qulaity

    2nd expensive Breville product that bit the dust. Kettle 1st lid hinge broke after 1 year use, now toaster after 3 years quit. Expensive, cheaply made products - Breville will want to take this off line and then when one does you never get a follow up. Stay away. I purchased both items because I was tired of inexpensive items packing up in short order. These were no better.

    Cannot toast without completely burned edges

    This toaster, like another long-slot toaster from KITCHEN AID, cannot properly toast a piece of bread without having seriously, unacceptable burning on the toast edges. This has been reported by many other reviewers on other on-line sites. I returned the toaster and bought the comprable KITCHEN AID. As mentioned, it behaved similarly! We can send a man to the moon but we cannot make even a $100 toaster that does its job properly.

    I bought this toaster in July 2020 In October 2020 it broke. Not acceptable for a $100 toaster!! Never will I buy this brand again!
