    Frustrated Latte Lover

    I have been using this machine for about 8 months. I was annoyed with the automatic "brew counts" that shut the machine down for cleaning but i get it. After cleaning and descaling, the machine has never worked properly again. Shots do not heat to proper temperature, and the milk-frother then required flushing after every use (manual flush/reset) and now the frother doesn't heat or work at all. This machine is a less expensive than many, but it's not cheap. DO NOT BUY - it is not worth the money.

    Great until it wasn't

    The simplicity is amazing and it's easy to clean/maintain...until it isn't. The shots started becoming very inconsistent (for many seconds longer than originally) which you can fix with manual intervention, which is a pain. The descaling and cleaning notifications cannot be bypassed and are manual + time consuming. Now there is a hose component in the main case that seems to have come loose again so it's leaking out the bottom. It's very frustrating because this unit was not that old.

    Looking for a small expresso machine that actually works as described? This Bambino was a perfect solution for me. To be honest, it's almost too small and light when you're trying to insert the portafilter into it, but running some hot water thru the basket before putting it in place solved that problem. It actually does a great job at frothing for lattes, and it's easy to clean to boot. Uses an honest 54mm SS portafilter with pressurized baskets, and with some practice with tamping, does a great job of pulling shots.

    Not User Friendly

    Disappointed. Requires a great amount of strength to lock/unlock the portafilter on this machine. Literally have to almost hold the machine against you to accomplish this function most likely due to machine being very light weight. Could not review quality of coffee as I returned the machine same day I bought it.
