After 11 months of daily use, the unit has failed. It trips the breaker halfway through the brew cycle. This is the second Breville Precision brewer I've purchased in four years. This lifespan is ridiculous for what is allegedly a high-end brewer.
Now I get to experience the joy of sending it in for warranty repair (at my expense, of course) and waiting several weeks / months for it to come back.
I've had cheap, entry-level coffeemakers outlast this. My next coffeemaker will not be a Breville.

common fill water tank error

Keep getting the fill tank error even though the tank is full of water. Do not recommend buying. To fix, you have to dump the entire tank out(tank is not removable either) then refill. Afterwards, you can not have water sitting in the tank for more than 5 minutes, which means you can never program it to make coffee later. For the price, it should have a better water tank sensor. Returning it and buying something else.

Garbage.
We had the thermal one and the glass one, both make good coffee, but the problem is that the thermal one doesn’t keep the coffee hot at all. The glass one is cheaply made and makes a mess of itself when it drips into the carafe. The baskets on both end up creating a mess under the cone filter as well.

You're requesting a review for an item for which Best Buy immediately cancelled my order as you've been doing for the past year. This is occurring because of the thousands of dollars I've spent with Best buy, i have one item not delivered for which i raised a dispute and I'm therefore blacklisted from online ordering. This is absurd.

This makes the best coffee I've had at home. It's wonderful. But it drips every time you take the carafe out. Even Mr. Coffee has this figured out.
Most importantly, the first heating element stopped working pretty quickly and they sent me a new one. The new one immediately didn't work. They have serious quality control issues and can't be bothered to guarantee quality at this pricepoint, so I can't give it any stars. For this cost, it's time to take some responsibility for the product quality.

This coffee maker makes good coffee. However. If your cafafe cracks or breaks. Breville will screw you. Can not get a replacement carafe. No where online. Nor breville will not sell you a replacement. Always out of stock . They have no sympathy at all. Mostly rerouted calls over seas. 6 months now. No carafe. Do not buy. Best buy will not help either.

Not usual Breville quality or customer service

Not a quality product as warming tray finish flakes off and coffee drips from basket whenever carafe is removed. My Cuisinart coffee maker have proved more durable than this machine that cost a lot more. It was an anniversary gift splurge and one we now regret. Breville said the warming finish flaking off was not covered by warranty and dripping from coffee maker when carafe removed was normal and probably cause of flaking warming tray. We have other Breville products and I was shocked by this lack of quality and concern on their part to fix it. Save your money unless you want a coffee maker that will not last beyond 1 1/2 years.

Easy, makes great coffee and no issues witht the unit at all. Great quality. I paired it with the Beville grinder and use it most days of the week. Do not regret this pirchase at all.

I am so disappointed with this coffee maker. I just had to order a replacement glass carafe for the third time. I pretty much spent almost an extra 100.00 dollars for a replacement.
