Worked great until it burnt out. Not even a year and it burnt out on me. Buy with caution.

Excellent coffee grinder, performance , build quality, value an ease of use make it an over all excellent choice.

The plastic hopper creates a static cling effect that scatters coffee frinds EVERYWHERE! Find one with glass or stainless steel instead.

the grinds tend to congregate in the corners of the collection bin requiring excessive tapping to get them consolidated enough to pour into the filter. additionally a small amount of grinds escape during the grinding process. it runs quiet, & the ground coffee beans appear to be uniform. the quality of the collection bin, especially the lid hinge, appears to be suspect, hopefully it holds up; I got it for a good deal, so I am overall happy with the grinder. Im a "maybe" on the Would you recommend this item, yes if you can get it on sale, otherwise no (selecting yes to be able to submit this review).

I am always nervous to see how large an item really is post selecting it. But this item was a perfect size for a great grind! The grinder fits on any shelve i have in the kitchen which makes this a keeper! Placing the beans in the grinder is self explanatory. I love the ease to select what type of Grind i am looking for and how many cups. I expected to hit on and be blow away but the noise but i was presently surprised that the noise level of the grinder was minimal. Removing the coffee was just as easy as every other step and washing it out was manageable. If you like to buy beans and grind fresh coffee this is a great additional to the kitchen gadgets.

Grinds good, but does not stop on quantity levels. It will grind however much coffee beans you put into it.

Gone through 4 burr grinders under 100 and this one tops them all by far. Every one I tried just did not work for an espresso. None of the ones I purchased such as Krups professional, Cuisinart supreme grinded it fine enough for an espresso. This was my main reason for purchasing a burr grinder. This one did the job for under 100 bucks. It’s well worth it. Easy to clean, not too loud. Don’t understand why the cup that holds coffee is so small but it doesn’t bother me at all. Love this thing. Great job Brim for keeping it affordable and as professional as a $300+ grinder. If your looking for a great espresso grind get this thing, well worth it.

Bought on sale, but very pleased how it grinds beans evenly, with just a push of a button.

This burr grinder is much quieter than our previous one. The coffee was ground quickly and the gravity fed grounds collection box worked well, though I would recommend investing in a quality brush to clean the grounds out from the hinge areas prior to trying to trying to close the collection box. We have tested this grinder out both on our cold brew and with our normal drip coffee maker, and the recommended settings for both worked perfectly. We are very happy with our new grinder, and based on the quality of this grinder I will look at Brim products first from now on when looking for coffee related items.

The Brim Conical Burr Grinder is easily my favorite new kitchen appliance. Being somewhat of a brewing novice, I've utilized a small blade grinder for years and was not believer that a burr grinder would really make a huge difference...but boy was I wrong! The Brim provide precise grinding settings for a consistent taste and has emboldened me to try cold brewing for the first time as well! It's super easy to choose the perfect ground type, the capture container makes the transition from grinder to brewing a cinch, and I'm now emboldened to continue experimenting with new brewing methods!

I purchased the Conical Burr Grinder at an attempt to switch up my tried but true morning ritual (Espresso Machine with built in grinder) and this has been a great alternative to my usual espresso go to. I’ve been using this system to grind for my pour over system and it’s awesome! Super efficient, easy to clean and looks sleek. The adjustment knob is very easy to use and has a ton of options to achieve your preferred grind. Highly recommended!

I have never used a coffee grinder before so I read all the literature first. I used it to first grind beans for my drip coffee maker , then used it for the cold brew coffee brewer. This product was easy to use. The coffee was awesome from both styles of coffee makers...will use it and experiment with the different grind settings.

The grinder shoot clogs with every use and despite using canned air to clear both the burrs and the shoot, it is too much effort for one pot of coffee. Additionally, the drawer that catches the ground coffee is poorly shaped and as a result coffee grounds end up all over the counter rather than in the coffee filter. I do not recommend this grinder at any price. I have contacted Brim to see about 'troubleshooting solution' and all they were able to suggest is to clean with soap and water. I requested a refund. As a comparison, I have had a barista grinder purchased at Starbucks purchased over 15 years ago that worked perfectly for over 15 years and gave up the ghost whcich is what caused me to shop for a new one.

It works for me. The grind should be finer but I can still make espresso with pressurized tray. I don’t have any problems with static nor grinds coming out the side of the collection box. I washed it with soap and water before use. Maybe that is the secret.

This grinder was by far quieter than any grinder I've used in the past. The twist dial to adjust from coarse to fine was intelligent and easy to use. Really pleased with the functionality and ease of use.

This Brim Conical Burr Grinder is a powerhouse! I love it for everything from coarse grounds for cold brew to fine grounds for espresso!

We've owned Brim products before and been happy, however, this particular grinder is a lemon. We took our first one back hoping it was defective but the replacement has the same problems. Overall grinding is fine but the settings are junk. 6 may make 4, or 3, or 1. Who knows, it's never the same. It gets stuck all the time and you need to move it for the beans to flow down into the grinder. For the money this is not a good investment at all.

First off, you'll notice that Brim likes to respond to these negative reviews with the same spiel.. "Sorry! Please contact us for a resolution". What they don't tell you is after you contact them... they ignore ALL communication and refuse to get back to you. I purchased this brand new in May. Less than six months later it was broke. It required multiple self-repairs along the way, until the grinder decided to start leaving METAL PIECES in the coffee grinds. I've tried to reach out to Brim multiple times, all with no response. Apparently they think this is acceptable. You were warned. Stay away. When something goes wrong, you will have absolutely no Brim support to rectify the situation.

This grinder has been wonderful for our pour over coffee maker. Unfortunately, it stopped working today. Cleaned it thoroughly and called customer service who cannot help us as it was a Christmas gift (only three months ago) and we do not have the receipt. I do not think these products are durable so please keep the receipt. The warranty is for two years. I will look into getting the Breville grinder next. I will not support companies who do not support me.
