Bought this to tidy up my office area.setup was quick and easy.

I love this portable scanner. It was easy to install, too.

Its not a full size scanner. Its mobile so dont expect full size scanner awesomness. However, even though its a portable it is an awesome piece of gear. Also the fact its usb powered is a major plus. Surprisingly its not too slow and the software with it is more than adequate.

This is easy to use and the software downloaded without problems. I wish I could scan as a .jpg file. It was weird trying to figure out how to save the scanned image. Overall, I find it very useful and glad I can keep it in a drawer until I need it.

Worked great scanning old family photos, even old Polaroids.

Great for storing receipts and important data instead of file cabinets full of paper just load it into the computer and you can print a copy whenever you need one.

A good option for a portable scanner. USB power was a huge plus. 4/5 rating because Brother does not offer any support for Android or Google OS, making this incompatible with Chromebooks.

My wife needed a device to digitize hundreds of recipes, which had to be portable and easy to use. I reviewed the top 5 devices and was pleased with my purchase of the Brother DS-620, but more importantly, my wife is happy with the device.

I bought this to scan receipts for myself and for a non-profit I work with. Document feed is easy and I can bring receipts right into Quicken and QuickBooks. I haven't really used it for photographs. OCR from a PDF is pretty good.

It's a bit slow, jams sometimes but overall functions fine for the price. I'd have bought a Fujitsu but they are way too expensive.

This is a decent scanner, however if you are trying to scan a dark picture it does not start scanning until there is a lighter color in the picture. I've had to put light colored paper under any picture that is dark at the top. The scanner grabs the item to scan but, if dark, does not recognize until light color present. Check the default settings to make the quality a little better also.

This scanner (hardware) seems to be okay but the software is primitive/ancient. I use Mac OS 10.11. Poor interface, very few controls or features. You cannot create a multi-page PDF document as a single file - each page is a separate document. The OCR software included doesn't work! So, without good up-to-date software the hardware is rather useless.

I needed an efficient and uncomplicated scanner and I found it in this purchase. I am scanning my little heart out. It also saved me from buying a bulky printer/scanner combo..
