Love it. Replaced an older Brother printer. No problems with either one.

Purchased this item as a gift for a prolific scientific author whom frequently uses printed materials for their work. I setup and installed the device, which was very easy (be careful to remove all internal protective plastic on the toner cartridges). Recently I heard back from the recipient, and they mentioned that it continues to work great with quick, sharp, rich colors.

The printer gives very good color pictures - quality similar to what I found on the comparable Brother and to Mr. Speedy where we took copy for publication. It did two-sided printing well and transitioned from portrait to landscape flawlessly. The Brother would get confused and end up printing a page upside down. The HP was about $25 more than the Brother. I definitely recommend the HP.

Printer is good, but slow in printing. had issues sending prints thru wifi initially, but its ok now.. not a great option the printer also lacks scanner

We had a Samsung b/w laser for years and finally decided wireless printing was a must have. So far have not been disappointed in this product.

I ended up with 2 of these 3170 printers from Best Buy and both did the same thing, so it's some-kind of design flaw, as Brother Support couldn't figure it out either. Seams when i printer paper from the front manual feeder, my printouts would print the top half of the page just fine,, but then the bottom half would look faded or even missing toner color altogether. I could remove everything from the top of the page and print the bottom and it would look fine. You can see in the picture the black was very noticeable. This was a semi gloss paper i was using, but i tried many set up settings and none worked. It appears to me that there's an issue with the way the toner rollers pick up the toner for my paper.

Nice color laser that does duplex. Quality print and easy to setup.

I got it primarily for printing card stock–it can handle 175gsm card stock with its manual feed straight through paper path. Fast, easy wireless setup.

It's a nice printer and easy to use . It also prints wonderful in color.

This Laserjet is so fast and quiet. It is also very easy to operate.

This is a great printer and the 3rd one I have purchased. It is fast, clean, and good quality. Ink cartridges are expensive, but aren't they all. The cartridges are large, last much longer than the little ones, and dont have to be replaced that often. A much better value and much better quality. Ill buy a 4th one if I need another printer.

Almost cheaper than a set of toners, you get a whole quality laser printer for the price, with excellent paper handling, duplex printing, and ability to print from mobile devices. Brother's support on Android was a bit troublesome for me hence the 4 star rating, compared with HP color laser printing. Still for its price, I find it a terrific value.

I haven't had it very long so I don't have a sense of how long the toner cartridges will last. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.

Great for office use. Fast and not as big as some printers are.

This is a good printer, it is very fast. If you are looking for a color laser printer, take a look at this one. If you are looking for a printer to print pictures, look at a inkjet, but for everyday printing and good quality flyers or brochures this is a great printer.

Overall Great product to use and is user friendly. Would recommend to family and friends.

The print is excellent for the price. Wireless set up is easy. It goes to sleep mode if there is no print task, but can be easily woke up by a print job even after one week sleep. One should be noticed is the precision is not so good, you can see small pixels in your graph. But for the price, it is very good though.
