Prints paper fast and good quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I replaced my previous printer with this one at a comparable price point. The ability to print 2-sided and to manually feed were not available with the other brand. These features on the Brother printer, plus great color are why I would recommend it. The price is very affordable, another plus.

Of all the printers it is better to just get a printer instead of a printer scanner fax still till this day i have not found a heavy used printer that does all three and last a long time this one looks like it will stay for a long time better than all the other ones never buying another Epson

The quality of the printing is good and the printer looks solid and reliable. Setting up for the first time is little bit cumbersome because of the small monitor. If your wireless password is long you will have fun time with entering your password. In general I recommend this printer.

I purchased this printer when starting a bookkeeping business out of my home. I do a pretty decent volume and have had no problems. The only issue is the Brother toners and drums are quite expensive. I usually search for a lower cost brand.

Great experience thus far- easy to set up as a wifi network printer. Webbased printing is a bit of an Easter Egg hunt to find solid directions on - Google Print. I like that you can toggle also to toner saving mode- I bought this to print volumes of B/W.

Works great, this was a replacement for the same printer just an older model that didn't have WIFI capabilities. Price was right too, saves a lot on printer toner compared to Desk-jet printers that cost an arm and leg on cartridges over a short time.

I bought the Brother 3170CDW color printer at Best Buy and it's perfect for my business office. It prints out in sharp and vivid colors for my client presentations and the speed is pretty fast. I can print in b&w for drafts too. I recommend it.

i had around 1000 pages printed within the first few days. It worked really well. It is a good deal for the price. The driver came in a CD. Most of the new lighter laptop stopped including CD drives. So had to download the driver from the brother website.

Excellent all round color laser. However, when my wife finally figured out how to do photograph we found two faint "tracks": from the rollers on the face of the photo. They are far too visible for display but do not show on color printed items.

I'd been looking for an affordable color laser printer with auto duplexing capabilities. This printer has everything I was looking for & now don't have to worry about the inkjet print heads drying up & constantly needing to be replaced.

Printer does put out a very good quality color printed page. My only issue with it is the setup for Wi-Fi or land cumbersome. Still can't get it to work exactly how I want to.

I had grown tired of inkjet nozzles blocking and inconsistent printing from the various inlet printers I’ve had over the years. This was my first laser and it’s fantastic. Page after page the quality is consistent. Love this machine!

I like the printer itself. The big problem I am having is that I can only get it to work with a UBS cable. It will not work with the house wifi. In the manual I could not find a Brother tech support # to call so I googled Brother tech support and that lead me calling a scam outfit based in India which asks you to go to support.me website which lets them into your computer. I had to take the computer to a shop to have all the malware taken off that they put on. Not any fun. So printer is good with UBS cable. Even though I follow manual instructions I can't get it to work with WiFi which is a constant source of frustration.

This is the 3rd Hl-3170CDW printer I have purchase. The first one lasted about 3 years and 30,000 copies. At this price point I will replace toner and drums, but it goes to the recycle bin if any expense or service is required

This printer is a little disappointing. The toner is super pricy and doesn't last very long. Also, the warm up time is much longer than with similar Dell and HP models. I use offbrandvtoner and it seems to work fine.

Called technical support twice and they resolved my concerns on the initial call. Only negative is that the printer is causing a power serge on my battery back up system and they have no idea of the cause or fix

Like many others got tired of paying the high costs of ink cartridges that don't last very long. Bought a colored laser printer that now that have come way down in cost is a better long term solution.

Ink cost is what you would expect. Quality is worth the price, but is not superb. If you want higher quality you have to spend more. This printer meets my expectations, so I'm happy.

This is a good printer. However the "air print" function is not as easy to set up as it is on some other printers. Had to call Brothers and they were great in walking me through the "air print" set up.
