It seems to print ok, but it is not plug and play and you have to use a USB cord not installed, can't remember last time I bought a printer and it didn't have wifi or plug and play

Quick, straightforward printer that installs and prints without fuss or complicated programming. Cartridges are pretty cheap too. This is my second Brother printer and I will continue with this brand for a while to come.

I like brother printers and have three at my office. I bought this to replace one, but am disappointed with its manual feed feature. When printing checks in the manual tray it frequently misfeeds. Very disappointed with that but otherwise it's a good tiny printer.

This printer is so simple and light. Easy to use. Downside is it’s not wireless.

As a printer per se, it does its job so far, however the printer only has a USB connectivity and it was very difficult to make it work in my home network. Print servers do not work with it very well. ASUS router could get it defined as a network printer, but the printer would refuse to print after the first page. If you have only one computer at home, it may work for you properly, I needed a shared printer for my household, and this one proved to be PITA. Had a Brother 2170W before this printer and it was working for quite some time without making too much troubles. The only advantage of this printer over 2170W is that it is capable of printing on both sides of a paper simultaneously.

I highly recommend this Brother laser printer. I costs less than $100 and the toner cartridges last a very long time (two years for me). I have this printer and an earlier model, which is still doing great. You can buy generic toner cartridges for less than $40.

Set up and operation is simple, just follow the directions. There are numerous options for text fonts and formats. Output can be single or double sided, horizontal or vertical. The print quality is excellent. Output is super quick.

Easy to set up. Works great...just a little noisy.

The printer at work jams often. I needed a personal printer so I did not have to depend on work equipment. This fits the bill

I worked in offices for many years and have used many types of printers and multi function printer’s. This brother printer and others I have used are very reliable and the cost for Inc. is not as expensive as some other models

The only thing I wish this printer had as well is a scanner. I love the fact that it uses toner as opposed to ink cartridges. It has a beautiful print quality, it is quick and quiet. Paper loads easily as well and it holds up to 500 sheets at a time. Great purchase!!!

My old Brother laser printer died after eight years and over 15,000 printed pages. I replaced it with this model. I am delighted with the print quality, the large capacity paper tray. I would buy this model again.

I got a couple printers for the company and this is the good one. I'm happy with this printer.

Great printer for the price. The only issue is that I have owned one before, and they break easily with moves.

This a great printer for fast, cost-effective black & white printing. I go through a printer every few years or so due to heavy use, and I always come back to this style from Brother.

I not only own Brother Printers, but I like to gift them because they are consistently reliable, they work well with their Android app, and all one has to do for maintenance is change the toner cartridge once in awhile, and the drum, generally after years of use.

Nice basic printer. Working as expected. Purchased from Best Buy. Customer service was fast and friendly.
