Needed a new laser jet since my old HP died. I tried a wireless unit but it kept falling off my network. figured for the price this brother is nice plus cartridges are a better value. So far (2 months in) this thing is perfect. fast printing and great quality.

Printer is very economical to buy and supply. Print quality is great and I don't miss buying multiple color cartridges. I never reakized how infrequently I needed to print in color.

Seems to work well EXCEPT the current iOS on mac does not have a driver supporting this printer. so you have to save everything to a pdf and then print via the brother iPrint and Scan app. I've heard this may change in the future, but if you'd like to avoid this inconvenience would recommend looking into other options if you have a mac.

Printer works great and I am very glad I chose to purchase my printer from Best Buy.

If you research online reviews for home laser printers, this type of Brother laser printer is typically the top-rated option. My first Brother laser printer (HL-21xx) like this one lasted at least 8 years. I think the non-OEM toner cartridges provided by my office shortened its life, but I'll never know for sure. So stick with the OEM toner cartridges during the manufacturer's warranty period. The replacement cartridges I purchased on my own, before I had this job, were fine.

it does the boringest of print jobs the plain office style ones. it does them quickly, quietly, and without much hassle

My first duplex experience is wonderful, and I can keep my backpack lightweight. Purchased with discounts for around $60 a month ago. The machine has been sturdy and caused no issues at all yet. Fast and clear printing. Simple design that blends in.

I was tired of buying expensive ink jet printer, so I looked for a laser /toner printer and this one was one of the most recommended. I must say it gets the job done and the toner lasts a long time and is less expensive than ink jet cartridges.

HP has let me down a few times, Brother never has. This device is priced great and print clear and fast. For simple monochrome printing I highly recommend it!

We always buy Brother brand laser printer. Compact and reliable. Brother doesn't make much selling printer- it's the ink/toner that cost money in the long run. You might want to consider purchasing generic ink/toner once the original runs out.

I needed a printer that can print LOTS (and not necessarily in color) quite inexpensively. It's been a work horse, and the printer cartridge lasts a long time! The only problem is that it's connected by cable, not bluetooth.

I am impressed with my new Brother Printer, it was so easy to install and printing is excellent .

Very easy to set up in Windows. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Standard gripe about all printers is the "STARTER" toner cartridge and no USB cable for printers which need one. I know that a full toner cartridge would increase the printer's price. , Will try it with LINUX later

You cant go wrong with Brother. It serves it purpose. Geat for home office.

It is the greatest printer I've ever had, it takes almost no time from me pressing print to having the page in my hand, if all you are printing is black and white documents there is literally no reason to get any other printer, love it
