Used this in my dirty warehouse and never failed me

Was looking for a b&w wireless printer when I stumbled across this brother. I read tons of great reviews and decided to purchase it for myself. What a great product easy to install ink wireless set up was a breeze and printing fast and in excellent quality. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great laser printer!

I purchased this printer to replace an HP printer that was not wifi compatible. This works great and was very easy to set up. It works well with my Imac. Good print quality also.

This printer is a quality product that I would buy again. I've had a few issues connecting devices wirelessly, but the quality of the print jobs is very good. The app makes printing from my phone easy.

It takes some time to set up due to single line display. Doesn't jam very often and the toner lasts forever. Sometimes (20%) it has trouble waking itself up out of sleep mode.

The price is great for a mono laser printer. I wanted the wireless feature because I work off the laptop (Macbook Air) all over the house, even out in the backyard. Prints without a hitch, love the double sided printing also. Also wanted the AirPrint feature for the iPhone, also works great. Downloading the driver off the internet was simple, took 5 minutes to complete the process….and wireless air printing was set to go. Mainly need it for text, so fits my needs.

I love this printer so far. I've had it for a few weeks and it prints really great. Unlike my last mono printer, the print is very dark so I can print all kinds of things without worry that it won't scan at the airport or something. It prints fairly quickly even when it hasn't been used for days. I've had no problems with it. No paper jams or anything. It prints fast and fairly quietly.

I bought this printer so my wife and I could print from our iPad's. This is a terrific printer. I love the fact that I don't have to buy ink so often. The laser toner lasts so much longer.

Other users found this printer easy to setup and print. In the classic printer mode that is true. Chromebook lists this printer as a cloud printer compatable unit. In my case it was not. Windows it is fine. Chromebook has a few glitches. After some work I got it to print. I bought this unit for google cloud printing. For that reason I would suggest potential buyrers chose a more recently released unit that is cloud ready.

The printer is really nice and it comes with sample cartridge which you could use to print about 700 pages so it is nice. I just had issues with this printer when it goes to sleep and my laptop won't be able to wake it up or find it in the wireless network

A perfect and an affordable laser printer. Wireless printing for my iOS and Android devices and from my MacBook. Absolute no problem running on a Mac, Windows, iOS and Android environment.

When this printer did actually print something, the quality was pretty good, and it was really speedy. This is the only reason why this doesn't get a one-star review. I had a time getting this connected to my network, since I didn't have a USB cable. The actual process wasn't difficult, but finding how to do it took some digging around. My Mac found the printer (after installing the drivers), and I was able to print. Success! Then it went into "deep sleep" mode after a minute of inactivity. No longer could my computer find the printer (it showed up in the list, but it could never connect to it to complete the job). Restart the printer. Success again! Then deep sleep again. "Could not connect to printer." I wasted the better part of an afternoon fighting with power cycling, setting up static IPs on my network, trying Airprint vs CUPS drivers, even using the "hack" to disable deep sleep mode, but it was the same story over and over again. Eventually, a whopping six hours after I had purchased this, back it went to Best Buy for a refund. I've never experienced anything like this with a printer before... including other wireless ones. Maybe it's a Mac thing... I don't know. Either way, I'm not sure that I'm ever going to try another Brother wireless printer again. You may have better luck than me (the high reviews on this would indicate your chances are good), but I felt compelled to share my experience.

It uses toners instead of ink jets which will SAVE you a lot of ink purchasing! Its really durable and easy to work with. Really happy I made this purchase.

This is a good basic printer for someone who doesn't print too frequently and only wants to print in black and white. Wireless connectivity works much better than old Kodak ink jet printer.

For those with Deep Sleep problem or the printer not waking up to disable Deep Sleep is just a bit hidden. These steps will get you to it: To cancel DEEP SLEEP on Brother Printer Go to General Setup then OK Ecology then OK SLEEP TIME then OK While sleep time is display push Down Arrow and CANCEL at the same time! DEEP SLEEP on/off toggle by Arrow keys OK to SAVE Deep Sleep off.

The printer exceeded my expectations, texts are super crisp, easy to set up, and it supports wifi.

Setup is very easy and the print quality is quite satisfactory. Just finished my starter toner.

Best Buy price matched this with Staples (along with the replacement cartridge) w/o issue. Its very fast even in duplex. I would not use a font smaller than 8 pt because its 600 DPI (vs 1200 DPI). Starter cartridge lasted about 800 pages so plan to get a replacement (BB price matched that as well).. Fast startup from deep sleep. Noisier than the HP 1200 it replaced but quite a bit faster. Installed in on wired network w/o issue. No issues w/Black and white graphics.

Bought this printer on a whim, turns out to be VERY reliable! Very happy with purchase!

Printer is great for it's price and performance. It can be a little loud but has a "quiet" setting that can be enabled. I didn't look clearly at the pictures of the printer before purchasing which is I guess my fault but I did read the description. Description says the printer is "black" in color. It is in fact black and grey. I don't think this would have stopped me from purchasing it but now I have a black desk setup with a big grey box sitting on my desk.
