If it does, it's difficult to "wake up". 2) I've noticed some extra toner flakes on the pages. It's what I need for fast output at a good price. I didn't need color or legal quality. Just a good solid, fast printer. This does it!

These Brother Laser Printers seem to last forever with never a problem. I got this one because I was replacing an older one that I gave to my daughter for school. This is a slightly better one than my previous printers because it has wireless capability. The XL package was more expensive but I computed costs and figured out that due to the high capacity cartridges, over the long term I was saving money. As long as you don't want a color printer, this B&W model is great and long lasting.

Can't believe Brother built this, ugh!
