This is the 2nd Inkvestment Brother printer (of the same model) I've purchased. I was so pleased with the performance of the first one purchased, I bought the same model for my daughter going off to school. No issues with wireless device or mobile phone printing and uses ink sparingly. Goodbye HP!

The Brother XL ink cartridges seem to go much farther than similarly advertised cartridges from other brands. The quality has been quite good so far and the Brother print hardware and software is intuitive and well designed. We would recommend this brand and these particular items to those looking for printers and supplies that don't have to be replaced as often.

Very pleased with this all-in-one printer. I wanted double sided printing, flat bed scanner, and ADF feeder. Hard to find in an inexpensive non-laser printer. This had it all and was very easy to set up. It is relatively quick and quiet. Have not had to change ink cartridges yet, but I do not print a lot. This is the perfect at home printer/scanner.

This has been an excellent value printer for my home office. The cartridges last a LONG time, and the quality is solid overall.

The Brother printer model MFC-J985DW operates easily and efficiently. The quality of the print is superior and the speed is fast. The scan function is easy to set up, fast, with great quality and it prints or scans to the computer without fault. The printer's automatic feed copying capability is fast, accurate and quickly sets up with minimum space requirements.

I've had this printer for a few weeks, and since I'm a "light" printer, I'm not sure I can properly assess the economical or durability aspects just yet. What I can tell folks, is, it's a breeze to set up. Took my girlfriend and me about 30 minutes to have it unpacked, ink installed, and "paired" with all our devices (for our cell phones, we utilize the Brother printing app). Text print quality is pretty good, but I haven't printed any photos yet, so am hoping the picture printing is close to the same great quality. Since we don't print often, it's usually coming out of 'sleep mode', so it takes about 15 seconds or so to warm back up. Again, nothing we print is THAT time sensitive... All in all, I'm very pleased, and I feel like this printer is well worth the money.

Nice printer with all the features you need for a small business or home use. I like the lower ink replacement cost.

Easy to set up, NFC feature is convenient. Scan to phone is also simple and easy. Does everything you can ever need.

All the printers I've owned worked well for a few years before problems. So being a recent purchase the jury is out. But it does seem to act reliably and I have high hopes that it continues to perform. Set up was not bad. Seemed well thought through, a good sign.

I bought this printer after reading several reviews and finding it was one of the best that had very low operating costs. So far, I am more than satisfied. I'm an occasional printer, and it does print more slowly than the "draft" setting on my old Canon Photosmart, but it's not too big, the print quality is very good, and it provides what I need without costing a lot in ink. Definitely would buy again.

Just got the printer Easy to set up. Was printing 10 min after opening the box. The app is easy to download Quality is pretty good. Time will tell How much use I get out of the ink. Hoping it's better than the hp printers that were a nightmare with ink

This is a very nice printer. Ink is very inexpensive. Print speed is a little slow.

This is one of the best printer I've own so far. It has everything you need as a student or to put in the office. It also comes with the ink and it lasts at least six months if you're printing every day. The best part is that this printer is not that expensive compared to others out there with the same features.

I had been buying HP printers for 25 years and watching the quality steadily go down. Based on reviews for this model of Brother printer I decided to give it a try. I wish I'd have done it years ago. The ease of setting it up, the quality of the printing is way above anything I've had in many years - LOVE it!

This is my third Brother printer. They average seven years of hard work before I have to replace them. Easy set up and simple to use. Lots of features that are not offered on other brands. The only negative is it has a tiny white light that blinks all the time when it’s turned on.

This printer had amazing quality. This printer was able to print multiple good photos at a time.

This printer was easy to set up and use with my iPhone and Microsoft surface. Have not used the fax option yet. Printing is sharp and clear. I would recommend if you want a wireless printer that is reliable with good quality

This printer was pretty much a plug and play setup. Prints quickly.

This printer was easy to set up and easy to get used to. We love its scanning capabilities as it's much easier to use than our previous printer. What really attracted me to this printer was its claim to ink economy. Since we've only had it a month its too soon to tell on that aspect.
