Really love the ease of setup and operation. I love being able to print from my IPhone.

I bought this after my Epson printer stopped working. Epson or Brother are usually my go to's for printers. After using this for about a month, I am impressed. The last Brother I had was a B&W laser, which was awesome. This printer sips ink and provides amazing quality prints, even photos. It tends to be a little slow if your using Inkjet paper, but overall, I definitely recommend this printer.

Time to replace my 'old' Brother 4-in-one Ink Jet Printer. Nothing wrong with the old printer, just getting harder to find ink for it. So, I bought another Brother. The new one seems a bit noisy as compared to my old one but it does the job. Old one had a few more features, like reduce and enlarge. But for the price, this will work.

The Brother Mfc-j985dw has proven to be an excellent and economical all-in-one printer. It provided Ethernet and wireless connectivity and came with full size extra large capacity ink cartridges. The print speed of 12 ppm black and 10 ppm color met our needs. The printer is shared with all our PCs through our home network. The ink cartridges are accessible through the front which makes for easier maintenance.

Works very well nice colors. Easy to install, and good optuon of other programs.

This printer delivers everything it promises. Easy set-up, low cost ink, good quality.

Upgraded my old Brother for better ability to print, scan, internet fax from my phone. Works great and no glitches or bugs. I don't need to open the laptop anymore for anything. It isn't the fastest in printing but fast enough. Awesome print detail/qualt. The ink is expensive but the cartridges last a long time.

This new printer works great, is simple to use, and is truly cost effective. I'm delighted with my purchase! I've had to throw away 3 HP printers and spend tons on ink cartridges. I have a good feeling this Brother printer will out-perform the HP a million to one. Definitely recommend this printer.

Very easy to setup and use. Really good printouts in color and black/white.

Easy set up, adequate printing. I purchased this printer mainly for business document printing that doesn't require very high resolution. I haven't tried it on Photos yet so I can't speak to that quality. My main objective in selecting this printer was cost of printing and so far it seems to be saving money on ink.

This was a replacement for an older Brother multipurpose machine. The digital controls are more user-friendly. The quality of the print, both black and white and color, is much better. The only minor negative is that document printing is noticeably slower that my last Brother multipurpose.

This is a great multi-function printer for basic home use. It's not very fast, but supports all the functions needed including 2-sided printing, scanning, faxing, and original document feeding. It's already paid for itself with efficient ink usage compared to my old inkjet printer.

very functional printer, easy to use, good print quality

Bought this 2 years ago and it’s still working today! I had to buy ink probably only once for the colors and twice for B/W as I use that almost every weekday. What I don’t like is that it gets overheated after around 30-40pages of constant printing(With a small rest time interval).
