New printer is working well. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This printer replaced my HP that just quit after just 3 years of home / business use. I have had no issues to this point and it does all that is advertised. The ink system is a super improvement over my last printer. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone that is looking for a great home/office printer.

No problems setting up this printer. The instructions were clear, no confusion. Be warned that if adding to Google Cloud Print, this is a 2nd generation printer. It takes quite a few minutes for the printer to be available as a Cloud Print device.

My HP broke and tired of replacing it yearly. Did my research and brother seemed good. It works well. The features aren’t as easy to follow but it works great!

replaced an old brother 290 with this printer. Has lots of features and print quality is very good. It is a little noisy but not to bad. Says do not need to refill for two years. No issues installing on windows 10 just follow instructions.

Simple to setup for WiFi printing. Like the larger capacity ink supply. Have had some issues printing photos, with noticeable wheel indentions on print. May be due to older photo paper. Will continue to test.

I have had this for over 1 1/2 years and have had no issues so far. It gets light use (maybe 5 - 10 pages/wk) and mostly just printing in black ink. Like the scanning and copying features.

The only complaint that I have about this printer in any way is that it takes a really long time to copy an existing document. In every other way I'd totally give it 5 stars.

The performance really outshines the cost of the printer, It has been a wonderful piece. You do not have to think twice..Just BUY it and you will never ever regret ever doing so

So far so good. Easy to get up and running. WiFi connection works much better than the last printer I had with WiFi connectivity. Haven't had an issue.

I bought this printer after putting up with a very cheap printer for about 6 years. It is very nice to have a great printer. I plan to have it for many years to come.

OK, This is my second Brother all-in-one printer, the first is a laser printer that I bought about 4 years ago and is still running like a champ. After saying that, I have to say I will never buy another printer not made by Brother. They do all-in-ones right. This model MFC-J995DW XL has everything anyone could need: -2 years of ink shipped in box -2 sided printing -flatbed scanner -high speed printing (12 ppm black, 10 ppm color) -150 sheet paper tray -fax machine functionality ( for those who would rather not tie it to a dinosaur and send it that way ) -cloud printing (Google Cloud Print enabled) -print from cloud storage providers (MS, Google, Dropbox, etc.) -Wi-Fi or wired connection -USB (if you prefer that) -NFC for quick network connections Print quality is great. How do they get 2 years of ink? The cannisters (I guess that would be the term) fill a reservoir in the printer. These canisters are about 3"x4"x1" (color) or 3"x4"x2" (black). There is one black, one red, one blue and one yellow canister. You only need to order individual colors if you somehow run out. The price for refills is very reasonable considering there is 2 years worth of ink in there. They run about the same price as a refill for other printer brands. If you have owned a Brother printer in the last 4 years, you will be familiar with the web interface. There is also a iPrint and Scan app available on mobile platforms. The app will allow you to print locally on the network, or connect via cloud if you are off network. I configured the printer from a Chromebook. I have also used with Windows PC, iPhone and various Android versions from 7 on up. No issues with any of them. Scanning is flawless. I don't think there is an easier setup for a printer on the market today, let alone an all-in-one printer. Well done Brother.

its great the only think is it disonects from the computer so you have to reset every other time

this printer operates quite efficiently. it does make noise which I appreciate as it alerts me if I am in another room

I like to print both sides, I have this printer for about two months I am waiting to see how long it takes to replace ink.

I was looking for something to use for work so this is a great printer I would recommend it to anyone who prints alot
