Barely Get 200 Pages of Print
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Theses ink cartridges are ok. I've never gotten nowhere near 600 pages worth of prints. Not even close to 200! Looking for a better alternative but until then, Im forced to purchase these for my printer.

BestBuy staff was a great help in the selection of the correct one for the printer model.

Posted .Hello, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. The ink cartridges run dry quickly and the printer won't let me print if ANY ONE of the cartridges is 'running low'. Even when I purchase the high volume version of the ink cartridge. The problem seems to be a combination of printer AND cartridge design. My past printers (Cannon, HP, and more recently a Lexmark I've been most pleased with) let me squeeze out the last drop of ink.

Biggest problem is the automatic cleaning that is programmed into the printer is set to run even though I do not print anything and that cleaning wastes so much ink I have to replace cartridges more often then I have had to do for any other printers I have owned. No way have I ever been able to print the number of pages that it is advertised to print. Disappointed I ever bought the printer.
