    Nope! It's not because it runs dry very fast, it's because I'd rather buy OEM than generic, and with BB's price matching on their website and to other sellers, I can pick up ink locally at the price of some other retailers. It lasts quite a while for me, maybe up to a year per cartridge, but it really depends on your usage I suppose. Like other cartridges, easy install.

    My small business and home office has three Brother printers in service. Two are laser Black and White (over seven years old). I have one Color a little over a year old, it is an MFC-J4410DW. I have found that the combination of the moderate price of the machines and the reasonable cost of ink and toner is very cost effective. Promotions at Best Buy seem to be timed for my needs.

    Excellent product. It restored my Brother printer to life after I used a cheaper ink product and my printer stopped working. Just a few cleanings with the Brother ink, and my printer is good as new. Very happy with the product. (I'd love it even more if the price was lower!)

    If you have a model MFCJ4310DW, MFCJ4410DW, MFCJ4510DW or MFCJ4610DW Brother printer and need black ink, this is a good choice unless you prefer to replace lower-yield cartrdiges more frequently at a higher cost per page. If you don't need black ink, or if you need black ink for a different kind of printer, this is probably not the best way to go. Good print quality. It met my needs.

    Brother printers seems to work the best for me - my MFC-J650DW never jams, always stays connected to wifi, and are always available to print, whether from my iMac or iPhone. And the inks last longer and are less expensive than HP. A win-win! Switch to Brother if you're having trouble and hate the money you're spending on HP printers and supplies. You'll be glad you did!
