Posted .We understand that you are unhappy with your purchase of the Brother LC2013PKS cartridges and we'd like to help. The machine will use small amounts of ink from each cartridge to perform regular cleaning cycles. Another factor that could be affecting your color ink consumption is the amount of printing from a computer, even if the print jobs are black only. Because this machine offers full color printing, the default setting in the print driver is color. This means the machine will automatically mix all the colors to produce a selected color, even black. It gets used up quite fast

Thanks for the help of store Manager Brad and 2 Sales Associates Cody and Vanessa. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We upgraded our purchase to a HP Office jet 5740 which I am very pleased with! I would recommend the HP rather than this Brother printer
