You have to buy the black cartridge separate. Black is the main one you need. Everybody get you one way or another you gonna pay!

If the color is low, you cannot make black copies. If you have a ample supply of back ink, you cannot make black copies.

I needed ink to print documents

Posted .Hello, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.

Look like there was/were return items. Would return them but I do not feel like going through the hassle. So, I will try them in my printer to see if there work or not. I just know that I will not be ordering toners from BestBuy anything soon.

Ink is a pain

The last set we got about 45 pages and printer said out of ink. This time we will keep track and see about the so called 260 pages. One thing for sure I don't think we will buy another brothers printer. Will keep you informed of the result of the next set of ink.
