The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more ink and will shorten the life of the ink cartridge. Too Many Updates and too much ink used. Their Fast and Save Ink are horrible software combination. Have to remove the whole tray if using 1/2 sheet of paper or special paper. Doesn't recognize that the tray has been replaced. Their is no desktop icon to change default. Have to hunt it down using devices on computer. We have to unplug devices because of intense lighting storms in Florida. Printer Shoots ink out to clean the heads, every time you re-plug it in. WASTE OF INK! Won't buy another Brother ever.

I didn’t notice until I opened the package. Now they won’t let me return them, though it was never used.
