Is run of the mill on price it's not cheap but not overly expensive either. Just be aware most printers this does into won't let you print in say black and white without all the colored ink being full enough and vis a versa. You can do a work around on it is the ink levels aren't too too low but it's still a pain.

The biggest problems that there doesn't seem to be much ink in the cartridges. It seems we are always replacing them due to low levels.

Posted .We understand your Brother LC3011BKS cartridge did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more ink and will shorten the life of the ink cartridge. One time I did try to purchase a knock off brand of ink to use in my printer and it was a major let down. I print a good deal at home and I get quite a bit of value and use out of this cartridge.
