The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more ink and will shorten the life of the ink cartridge. I bougth this ink because is Best Buy but my printer shoe me a message " please buy originals"; in conclusion, I can't use it. The ink is full but the printer display a message "your ink is empty". If you don't buy in the Brother website the printer doesn't work. My money in the trash.

With each firmware upgrade I cannot get my Brother

The printer and the 1/3 ink left is sitting outside on my deck to go to the dump next week. I have bought a lot of this ink but it fails because the cartridges are not truly full or the printer is just awful. Tired of wasting my life hours trying to get Best Buy or Brothers support in any way.
